"2021 Update/Edit: I'm still receiving 'ghost' emails about billing. I'd really like to give this a rating of 2 stars but I do believe that would be a little unfair, and I'm sure that that wouldn't be reflective of how someone who regularly gets services from here would feel. I am also giving it 3 stars in part because I see potential, and I believe the services this business has to offer are incredibly necessary to so many in the community. - My low star rating is not at all reflective of the in person counseling session that I had with one of the counselors. It is reflective of the communication I received as I tried to get set up with services. The scheduler, Gigi, is a lovely person in terms of personality but I must admit that she is unprofessional. At first it made me feel comfortable to so easily get a sense of her personality- it made it seem like I was just on the phone talking to a family member or scheduling a phone appointment. For people who are nervous to try counseling, I can see how her personality could ease them. That's where the pleasant experience with her ended, though. On the several conversations that I've had with her, they weren't really useful in terms of getting any of my questions asked. Whether it was finding the location (when i was at the building), figuring out what type of appointment I could schedule as my first (virtual vs in person), or insurance issues, she just never had the answers to any of my questions. Like, ever. The last time that I called and talked to Gigi it was about my insurance issues. I have two different insurances, and specifically looked on the list of covered insurances before I made my appointment but still ran into issues. It is confirmed that the counselor of my choice does take my primary but not my secondary, which is no issue. My secondary is just there to cover my co-pays (and that's how it has always worked), but I could not get that result with this service. I'm still not clear on if that's because they're unfamiliar with billing two insurances or if my counselor truly can't take my secondary as a secondary (which technically can happen but is extremely rare- I have never had that happen). Their billing system needs some work, and left me with more questions than answers. The status of my invoices have changed over time, from me needing to pay a co-pay, to getting notified that it was paid for (right before I was going to pay it), to now having a credit in their system. I sent an email to my counselor to ask what the status of things truly were but got a response from someone else. I asked them another question back but got no response. Somewhere around that time I did end up talking to Gigi again to ask her what was going on and she basically just said that the billing system was out of whack and just to check it again in a few days or weeks or whatever. That was over a month ago. Honestly, I just kind of let things be. I still don't know whether or not my appointment was paid for (partially or not), and I'm not really worrying about it right now. I think the actual first session that I had with the counselor was really nice and it was something that I saw myself looking forward to but the communication issue was what motivated me to look elsewhere. I think if/when that problem gets fixed that this could go from (what's really to me) two stars to five. Surely this place is already getting people, I just hope they can reach their potential."

"Was giving an option to have a time slot of 2 pm then he GG said they have an appointment after I get off at 4:3p. Received a confirmation text the day before the appointment and confirmed it. It never sent a message back so I decided to call. Gg stated that it was confirmed only to call me back to say someone canceled it. I said I did not cancel I’m coming. This is at 3-4 Pm the appointment was at 7. I called after I get off and he states he received a text saying it’s canceled I told him I don’t know what’s going on but I didn’t cancel it. I’m still coming ( second time) he proceeds to say he has to call Dr Ledbetter to see what’s going on. Not only did I have to call them GG is the worst and needs to brush up on his phone etiquette. I called at 5:46 fed up to make sure my insurance wasn’t billed and that they didn’t charge me anything for him to say miraculously Dr. Leadbetter was there. I tried to be optimistic about this however I see why some people do not want to go through therapy and to be honest the whole situation was mishandled not to mention very unprofessional. I received a call from Dr. Leadbetter but I didn’t answer I didn’t feel like being lied to or handled unfairly again. I wouldn’t recommend her at all."

"The office is a little difficult to find on your first visit but other than that I love it so much. I mean imagine actually looking forward to your therapy sessions. The office is very nicely decorated and comfortable. Both therapist at this center make you feel comfortable, not judged and easy to talk to and open up to. I would recommend this center to anyone looking for a professional, supportive and amazing therapist."
