"If you’re worried that you’re too old for drum lessons don’t worry, I’m 33 and I've managed to play comfortably after taking lessons from Cassie for 6 months. Cassie is an absolute pro, if you’ve never touched a drum set, she can break it down easily for you and get you running with the basics really quick. She helped me correct bad habits I had developed by trying to play on my own. She’s great at recognizing what material you’re comprehending, what you need to work on, and assessing your individual learning needs; She then develops a plan for you. If something isn’t working for you, she has ways for you to easily pivot on working on something else, and then maybe coming back to a detail later when you’ve possibly built up your overall “drummer sense”. Cassie is an energetic and personable teacher who treats you like a fellow musician no matter your skill level. Her knowledge of percussion and music are top tier, and she’s got me interested in aspects of music I never would have discovered on my own. If you have aspirations of jamming with other musicians, or writing drum parts for you solo project, or just improving your craft, Cassie is an excellent teacher."

"Cassie is an amazing music teacher for kids (though I know from our conversations that I'd enjoy drum lessons from her too). She’s not just a music nerd, but a music teaching nerd, and she puts time into planning and adjusting an approach that works for each child. Her versatility is invaluable—my kids both started on keyboard and drums, but one took an interest in ukulele, so she focused on that because she’s got a room full of instruments, and he loves it. Cassie wants to make sure they’re having fun first, and her own joy is infectious.
