"I called “Chabad of The Woodlands” office today to share that my husband and I wanted to observe the holidays coming up (Sukkot) And mentioned to the gentleman that answered the phone that I wasn’t jewish, but that I am very interested in learning of the Jewish faith. When he asked if I was Jewish again, I shared I wasn’t and was “declined” to attend the events. When confused and puzzled I made sure to advise the young man that if this was a nonprofit organization( which it is) it should be inclusive to all- he stated they needed to make sure they had adequate space for the Jewish community there first. This is not inclusivity*. I typically don’t write bad reviews because I feel it’s a bit crass and tacky but I have to say, if you aren’t Jewish… it’s best to reconsider attending here. For other options be sure to contact “Uptown Houston Chabad” they were extremely welcoming and even though it’s a drive for us, we are willing to go where we are welcomed. I hope in the future this location is more open to the rest of the community."

"Rabbi Mendel Blecher and Mishpogge have built a wonderful little oasis here. I am the wandering Jew when it comes to Chabad. Visit them everywhere in the world whenever I can, and if I lived here in The Woodlands, I'd be here all the time."
