"Send your kid somewhere else!! My son's counselor is useless, the school next to never helps accommodate the needs or concerns for the student...with out chasing and stalking them to get it done!!! Forget making an appt...they will leave you there waiting for over a 1/2 hour like you have nothing else to do...if I go one any further I will give myself an blood clot."

"I was not impressed with the academic rigor. It was as if they had to lower the standards to meet so many that those that had the ability to rise above were not given the chance. State testing and attendance were top priority. The communication with parents, as a district, was poor. They love one sided communication, they post highlights on twitter that you can see but can't respond. We were happy to move to a more rigorous district. I would like to call out one teacher, Mr. Davis. He is an exceptional teacher that helped my son realize his love for history. I fear he will soon burn out with the energy he puts in and the lack of recognition and support I suspect he receives."

"This school is very disorganized. Should have already had schedules for the returning students completed. Also, they are not mailing the STAAR results of, when they should. I am also host with their lack of communication. When a bathroom over flowed, no calls went out to the parents of the students affected. I also missed a parent/teacher conference because they did not notify the parents. Worst school any of my kids have ever been in. My advice, enroll your child into the Ysleta district if you are able to and save yourself the headaches that come from this school."

"The teachers are poor at best, with exception of a few. The students are worse, from what I have been told there are students that do drugs as well as several individuals that have been known to destroy school property. The principal Dr.Baxter does not care for the students well being and does a poor job of disciplining the students and does not care for students' needs. It was once reported that a student has used the restroom in one of the school's stairwell, the other students there are terrible people. Most of the other students have no respect for the teachers and do not care for education, there is an overwhelming amount of bullies with no respect for anyone else. Please do yourself and your children a favor and take them somewhere else. Thank you for taking the time to read my review."

"The principal and another teacher showed no interest in what was said about my child. Principal had to step leave meeting because supposedly other teachers needed her, like if their isn't an assistant principal to handle what ever issue came about. I was really disappointed with how this meeting ended. I felt like I was wasting their time. The teacher in the other hand wasn't listening and her body language said it all. Don't they know that body language is always noticeable."
