"I would give zero stars if I could. The WORST experience I’ve ever had with a “college” that is supposed to help students not take advantage of their money. I attended Pima from July-Oct 2023 for their sonography program which is a total joke! They fail students for not being good in general education classes; with a zero chance to make it to the actual program. The short time I was there I noticed a great amount of favoritism, along with “teachers” that shouldn’t be teaching because they lack experience or an actual teaching degree! Their grading system is ridiculous and quite unrealistic compared to an actual university. Which I have a bachelors degree so I know what I’m talking about. They get as many students into the program only to fail a few, and make a few extra thousand dollars off of those poor chumps. I’m stuck with almost $10,000 in debt for one semester!!! With nothing to show for it because their “credits” don’t even transfer to a university. The class I was in had about 22 students we hardly fit in class, and they had the audacity to remind us daily not all of us would make it. Because they fail you intentionally especially if you don’t kiss up to the instructors or director. The director spends lecture time talking about her personal life or irrelevant things that don’t pertain to her class. Not to mention she’s best friends with the gen ed instructor, and that’s the only reason I believe that lady hasn’t been fired yet because she’s a terrible teacher. There’s so much drama and unprofessionalism in that program I’m actually glad I got out early enough. Attending Pima was the WORST mistake of my life because I can’t get that lost time back, and I’m still having to pay them for their mediocre “education.” Please steer clear of this school, or any private school. You’re better off attending community college even if it take a 2 yr wait time. You will receive a better education and a guaranteed degree with transferable credits!"

"I liked Pima because I had the opportunity to learn from so many professors. I am a person who’s more of a visual learner and my professors were able to help. I’m glad I was able to be placed in an amazing site, I was able to learn so many interesting things as well as from different departments"

"Yes there professional but it comes to the internship they tell you last minute about where you want to be at because it’s mandatory. They don’t care if your kids are kids or how you get there, there just very unprofessional about that. They’ll never understand what’s it like when you don’t have family around to help and a daycare that understands the timing that you have to be there. I did my very best and it was a big mistake being here!!!!"

"I didn’t personally like the school along with my dental instructor. It was very unorganized when it came to my externship placement. At times I felt attacked my my instructor for things that had nothing to deal with her class and my learning. I was sent home for a t-shirt that was supporting another program. When all the school requires is that it has to be Pima. It was an experience to come here, that’s all I can really say."
