"I actually liked this place. The food was very good, in comparison to so many other standard chinese places. The atmosphere is the same as every other chinese restaurant, that's why I always get it to go. I'll be back to try again and hopefully it's the same quality."
"The food itself was fine, standard American Chinese food in large portions. Crab Rangoon was just cream cheese. However, it was not worth the two-hour wait. We ordered online and it said it would be 15 minutes. That seemed overly optimistic so we waited 20 minutes to go to the restaurant. An hour and a half later, we finally got our order. There was no way to cancel the order. I understand being busy but I wish the system had given us warning or a realistic timeline. My husband missed Christmas evening at home because he was waiting at the restaurant- they were not able to give an estimated time."
"I have ordered take-out / delivery Chinese food from many (many!) different restaurants in the Saint Louis area. Most range from decent to kind-of-bad. When I ordered for the first time from St. Louis Kitchen, though it had good review numbers, I expected "decent" at best. But this is - hands down - EASILY the best Chinese food I've had in St. Louis. Period. The flavors. The quality. The best. I will order often in weeks, months to come."
"Such a shame because I loved this place. They served a potentially fatal allergen to us by mistake, then didn’t take it seriously at all. Didn’t offer to take any off or anything, when we had to drive all the way back to get what we ordered. Really sad. Take allergens seriously & take your mistakes seriously. There’s mistakes you can make in food service, but serving shrimp instead of chicken could kill somebody."
