"My husband and I took the 4 course dinner along with wine pairing and it was a wonderful experience, the food was absolutely amazing, the service was outstanding too, Jess was super kind and seasoned, he explained us beautifully each of the pairing selections for each dish. Can't wait to go back!"
"Food was very good and well presented . Thought the service was little aloof and a little lacking for a high end restaurant. First thing we were told was they don’t split tasting menu even though we did not ask for tasting menu and we each ordered A la carte from the menu and like to try a little of everything. Parking is also limited , either street parking or park at establishment next door."
"Hard to pass up a reasonably priced 4-course tasting menu. I was eating alone and didn't have a reservation but I was happy to sit at the bar and eat. Food was good, grounded and unpretentious. Had roasted beet salad (to not have every course be heavy heavy heavy), pici cacio e pepe (my one main gripe...it's not pici, was obviously extruded and not hand formed), duck confit (probably the most satisfying course) and salted caramel Panna cotta (pretty basic)."
"Simply fantastic food and service. NOT STL style Italian food, but instead authentic Italian fare. The food makes me feel like we are back in Italy. If you've never been to Italy, try Acero for dinner and you will get a feel for the flavors served like you were on your own personal trip. Excellent wine selection. We have received outstanding service on all of our visits."
"We had the four-course dinner and my wife had the wine pairing. The food was delicious and the courses were well-timed. The pairings were wonderful as well! This is the best Italian food I have had in St. Louis."
