"Impressive one-room museum! I was worried by some reviews it would be small. Well.. it’s small but packed!! Our toddler LOVED it and it was just the right size and time amount for him! Donations accepted instead of tickets, but surprisingly a lot here to enjoy, when the Chicago Field Museum seems like a lot, and this was focused primarily on just dinosaurs!(Which is what drew us the most!) We enjoyed walking through the large room a few times taking our time, then enjoying the front entrance area where there are some kid-friendly activities - costumers/puzzles/ hands-on exhibits. Downstairs (basement) there is an official dinosaur lab and an open toy/play area! Also a dig box for fossils! Very pleasantly surprised coming from about an hour away-drive. Our little Dino-lover LOVED it!"

"I brought my wife and 2 kids, and everyone had a blast for a quick stop. There are a lot of dinosaurs and unique ones that we haven't seen somewhere else. And fun activities for the kids downstairs also. Did everything in about an hour"

"Very fun little FREE museum, donations recommended and well deserved. Definitely quality over quantity I was very impressed with the display but FYI it is primarily one smallish room. It is probably most appealing to younger kids. My almost 3 year old had a BLAST with costumes, puzzle, interactive displays. A very nice paleontologist? was supervising a dig exhibit in the basement. Very cool display of two dinosaurs fossilized while fighting"

"A very nice small museum /research facility. Despite it's indeed a single big room upstairs with dinosaur skeleton copies and small interactive space, it's incredibly densely and thoughtfully packed. It took us with a 4yo 40-50 min to study them all. In the basement there is a very nice small kids activity area with toys/puzzles and a working preparation/research lab with multiple exhibits from latest field trips (really enjoyed watching the active lab). Definitely worth a visit!"

"It’s a fairly small museum. It will take about 30-45 min to complete the tour. They have a single room with all the displays. Admission is free. Parking is available on the street."
