"A couple of years ago I came in this shop and bought my wife a diamond journey pendent necklace for our anniversary. The item was great and a great price. When I purchased the necklace the lady who was helping me was new and had to have the managers help checking me out. The manager apologized for the delay and gave me a little discount card with his name on it and the cashiers name on it to use on my next visit. A couple days later I had spotted a bracelet that my wife had wanted at a different store, I bought the bracelet and decided to take the necklace back to Gold-N-Pawn. When I handed the gentleman the necklace and receipt to return the item was not in the system. The same manager had to help him and they both went in the back. After some time the manager came back out and told me the item I purchased there was never there. The stock numbers did not match up he said. He went on and started drawing on my receipt what the item should look like and asked if I had anything like that at home. I am not in the habit of keeping diamond necklaces lying around my home and I know what I had bought and what it looks like. I explained to the manager that I had bought the item not even a week prior and he was the same person who helped me and the new employee, and even admitted remembering the transaction. The manager said I would have to come back in and speak with the owner. I was pretty upset after that. I never came back to talk to the owner, and I have not been back since."
