"I needed an elective removal of my gall bladder surgery. Dr. Martinez was phenomenal. I asked her *many* questions and she was so patient with me. You can tell she is passionate about helping people. I am so grateful. She was very knowledge. She used the divinci technology. That scared me a little bit. But she reassured me how much it allows her to do and see. I’m grateful she did my surgery. Would recommend her to anyone! Also the hospital was incredibly efficient in pre op and post op. She also made sure I had pain medication. And she numbs the incisions site to help with post op pain. I had my surgery today, and I am writing her review on google."

"My first impression of Dr Martinez was compassionate. I have had complications with my gallbladder and my pancreas after I was in a car accident in 2009 and I ruptured my spleen which caused massive internal bleeding. I have been dealing with the pain since my emergency surgery in 09 but I had a gallbladder attack and got sick in front of people at my job and I was placed on a leave of absence because I could no longer perform my job responsibilities. I work in commercial drilling and my job is very physical. My company made arrangements for my absence until I recovered from surgery and had me file for short term disability to help me pay bills while I was not working. Dr Martinez denied my disability claim and rescheduled my surgery without notifying me due to inclement weather. I was trying to cope with the pain and I had drugs in my system prior to the original surgery date. I felt like the way that everything was handled in the end was very inconsiderate."

"I was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma skin cancer in May of 2023. .Dr. Martinez removed the cancer in my upper right back in July of 2023. Before the surgery she drew a picture of my incision for me so I would know what to expect which was very helpful. After my surgery, my wife told me that Dr. Martinez knelt down on her knees where my wife was sitting and told her what to do after my surgery. That same night CVS ran out of my medication for pain and my wife called Dr. Martinez office and left a message. To our suprise Dr. Martinez herself called right back and she immediately got me a new prescription. Today was my 6th month check up with Dr. Martinez and looking at the 10.5 inch scar on my back you can’t even tell she even operated on me. Dr. Martinez is a great surgeon with a huge heart and I would 100% recommend her to friends and family. She is definitely doing what she was called to do. ❤️"

"I love giving good reviews; and often don’t deal with giving bad reviews. I been going back and forth for a while about giving this review and believe it’s only fair to give others my review; so they can make a decision based on all reviews. My experience with The office of Dr Martinez was probably the most unbelievable one that I’ve ever experienced. My gastro doctor called in my referral and made the appointment for me way in advance. My gastroenterologist office made the appointment while I was still in their office. I called Dr Martinez office to confirm my appointment. They confirmed. Over a month later as I pull in the parking lot for my appointment Dr Martinez office calls to reschedule my appointment because they don’t have the referral. I reschedule for the next available; which is a month out. I go to that appointment a month later and when I check in the front office tells me they don’t have a referral. I tell them I talked to my gastroenterologist and she said they had the referral. She told me to have a seat. I guess they found the referral because I got to see dr Martinez. The Dr ordered several test she wanted me to have before the surgery. I had the test over the next 3 months. I was scheduled for a follow up video call with Dr Martinez…..she never joined the appointment. I called the office she was out of the country, I was told to call back next week. I called back and was told the Dr would call me back. No call back. I messaged her on patient portal, no response. All my test results came in so I tried to call again she was not available and would call me back. This was from February until around July. I contacted my gastroenterologist, who contacted Dr Martinez office and finally I got a call back. The office left a voicemail. But guess what? The office said they got a new patient referral and was calling to get me in for a new patient appointment. I never called back. I didn’t trust her to cut on me. I believe God was telling me something."

"I was referred to Dr. Martinez office from a ER doctor, actually it was her partner I was referred to. I when I called to make the appointment Dr. Martinez was available to get me in right away so I went with her. I had my gallbladder removed today. I am extremely satisfied with her. From the consult with her at my first visit she was so warm and friendly. She’s soft spoken but so sweet. At my initial appointment she explained what was going on with my gallbladder, what would happen if I put surgery off and even drew pictures for me! Surgery went off without a hitch, minimal pain, mostly from the gas they put into your abdomen, incisions are small and she did give adequate pain medication to go home with, I am only adding that because it seemed to be a subject on a few of these reviews. Her office staff and surgery scheduler were also kind and worked with me when I had to move my surgery up. Overall I think she is great, I would go see her again for any general surgery needs and I would refer my friends/family to her without hesitation."
