"I’ve been here several times and I’ve had pretty good experience. As i getting my nails a customer came in and talked to one of the men. She was not happy with her last experience. He was not willing to work with her to rectify the problem…like give her a free basic manicure. She experienced the worst customer service. I don’t think she will ever come back."
"I just got a gel manicure done here and they are so bad. The polish was really bumpy, there were bubbles in the top coat, and there was a lot of polish on my cuticles. I tried ignoring it and wanted to fix them at home, but they were actually so bad I had to go back in. I asked for them to be fixed but honestly it ended up looking worse so I asked for them to be removed. Once she removed them, I tried leaving so I can paint them at home but she didn’t let me. I feel bad because she was trying to be nice, but I really just didn’t like the work. She did them again and they were still not good. My cuticles were slightly cut from the drill. They’re not bumpy anymore which is great but there’s still a lot of polish on my skin and in the sunlight, it’s obvious that the top coat isn’t covering all of the polish. Soooo bad do not go to the Niles location."
"I came here for the first time because my normal nail tech went out of country for a month. One of my nails broke and I needed a fill in. I did not have an appointment. Venezia Nail Spa accept walk-ins! Tony did my nails! I got a fill in acrylic and no chip polish. He did great job. Great customer service and friendly. Overall the spa is spacious and clean. I highly recommend and ask for Tony!"
"Quite literally the worst manicure experience I’ve ever had. This was my first and last time at this location, I should have known it would be bad since it was practically empty on a Saturday. I came in for a regular pedicure and a no-chip manicure. The pedicure overall was fine, not my favorite, but the no-chip manicure was a hot mess. I asked for my nails to be trimmed and refiled in the almond shape I already had. Did not trim my nails at all and just refiled, and not well. One of my thumbs was much shorter than the other and I had to show the technician so he could fix it. Then he cut me so bad that I wouldn’t stop bleeding and eventually put NAIL GLUE on my cut to get it to stop bleeding. I have never been cut so bad that it wouldn’t stop bleeding, and have never had a tech use nail glue to stop the bleeding. Then, he continuously kept forgetting which hand he did and would repaint the same one over again and then forget about the other completely. Also had to point that out to the tech. It hasn’t even been a week and two of my nails have chipped and several nails are lifting at the cuticle. Worst $90 I ever spent. I have gone to other salons and spent the same amount of money and the manicure would last more than 4 weeks! I came here because I was in a pinch, but I do not recommend this salon at all."
"Probably the worst nail service I've ever gotten. I'm from the Oakbrook area but was near Ohare for a work celebration. I didn't intend on getting my nails done for the event, but multiple had broken during the week setting up for the event so when my boss offered for work to cover a Mani Pedi, I accepted. I was on a time constraint so having the nail tech correct these issues just wasn't happening and arguing about pay wasn't within my time constraints either. I asked for a black french no chip with a full set. As you can see from the pictures the Acrylic is very thick and so uneven you can see divots and streaking in the base color. I asked for a clear base, not pink. After he applied the pink I tried correcting him but he told me it was clear...after curing they were clearly pink. There's Acrylic and no chip polish under my nail that he told me would come off after washing my hands...it didn't and I knew it wouldn't, but again time constraints. He didn't fill the nailbeds with enough Acrylic horizontally so to compensate he filed them aggressively and now my nail Beds hurt. The black french tip wasn't brought far enough over on most nails so instead of tapering towards the cuticle it stops shy of the edge of my nail leaving it look unfinished. The Pedi was by far the worst. You can clearly see the cure didn't take well and in applying a top coat he streaked black all over my toenails. He cleaned up some, but my cuticles are gray. The French on my toes is uneven: it's half my nail on my pinky toe and completely straight but it's thinner and arched on most of the other toes, the big toe has the thinnest French and instead of being squared like I asked for, they are clearly more rounded. The nail tech brought over the hot towel before it was needed and let it sit for a few minutes while cleaning up his mistakes, by the time it was placed on my legs is was barely luke warm and he only let it set for about a minute, then switched the towel to my other leg. I get pedis regularly and have never had to share a lukewarm towel between legs. There was also absolutely no massage component to the pedi. $130 for this...definitely no tip. This would never have been a regular salon for me given the distance to my Home but my company hosts events here twice annually and it would have easily been my local go-to for those events. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies. I'm paying to have these removed after 2 days wear and don't regret it at all."
