"I'm writing this review because I feel compelled to do so. As a loyal customer who has patronized the business since relocating to the area, as well as made recommendations to my business colleagues, It would be a dis-service not to write this review, for other potential patriots who depends on reviews before making a selection of who will provide them services. I'm extremely disturbed and disappointed by what I've eyewitnessed while at Helen's nails. The manager (Lisa) is very rude and disrespectful to certain customers. I've never experienced the blatant discrepancy on how I was treated compared to what's apparent as her "preferred customers ". Twice, I inquired about pricing, via telephone call, and both times, when it was time to pay, the price quoted was less than what I was charged at the counter. Because the work on my nails was satisfactory, I patronized the establishment more than I should've. No amount of "good work" is worth disrespect to customers and an up-charge for certain customers. I was hoping to have an overall great experience, but I didn't. I will not return for those reasons."

"I just moved to Illinois from out of state where I had been going to the same nail girl for 10 years. I made an appointment at a salon down the street and it just… did not go to plan. I called Helen’s because they were open until 8 when most salons close at 7 and it was 6:45 and they were able to get me in no problem. The attention to detail they gave my nails was top level- everyone was so nice and friendly- and the price was super great as well. Will be returning for future fills and pedicures!"

"Helen nails hasn’t let me down yet. The nails last long, and they take their time. Most salons focus on decor but not the longevity of the nails!! This place is a hidden gem. I usually get long acrylic nails with no chip pedicures. I always get tested so nicely I will be a forever customer."
