Soho Nail Spa

"I've used Soho for a long time. But Janet is the best!! I've been to others but no one every treats me like a human. I didn't think much of it until I broke my arm and leg. I was in a wheelchair and went to an old place thinking I couldn't get into Soho. The place put me in the back of the salon in-between two clients. At Soho Janet treated me great. Janet was so professional an and friendly. She wheeled a chair to the. Door and wheeled me to use the restroom. My nails are amazing super satisfied! UPDATE 12/15 was going to Iowa City for a Graduation when I asked Janet to make my nails stand out. Janet did not fail. Janet painted them school colors with a spirited decal I had on each. Janet my nails were admired by hundreds of strangers that LOVED my nails and asked were I got them done! Thanks again Janet!!"

"i would leave a 0 star review if i could, i never leave bad reviews as i like to find the good in things, however.. i felt the need to warn people to NEVER go to this salon. worst nails i’ve EVER gotten, uneven, rushed, wrong shape and color, etc. I made an appointment and was taken 30 minutes late. she took another customer while still doing my nails. touched the ladies feet and came back to doing my nails without washing her hands. do not listen to the good reviews, the chance of decent nails is not worth the risk."

"There was a mix up with what I requested in advance and what I was offered upon arrival. I was told when I got there she (Janet) needed more time to do what I asked for and she had other customers booked. Everything I asked for, Janet told me "I don't do that." She was not accommodating AT ALL. I get it...its her salon but wow, very disappointing. I was stuck with someone else who rushed through my pedi and was done in 5 minutes. The lady that did my finger nails was rushed by Janet and I had to constantly ask for it to be fixed. It came out horrible. Overall a terrible experience after having high hopes for Janet and her salon."

"Recently moved to the area and decided give this place a try. First thing I notice is how unclean this place is. I am also convinced that the nail polish they used was old and the service was absolutely terrible. I had to explain multiple times what it is that I wanted and she was unable to do it. Extremely sloppy and started to chip from the top and bottom after 48 hrs. Pedicure also peeled off. I made an appointment to come back because I spent $80 on this and she said she would redo them. She ended up just trying to fix them and made them even worse. When I told her how unhappy I was she just rudely said she has another appointment and that was it. She did not even bother to fix my pedicure. I don’t write many reviews but this place had me fuming."

"If you want someone who is professional, amazing at what they do, and have a relaxing experience, this is the place to go. Look at my thumb in the Christmas picture, that's free-hand! That is not a stencil. She is AMAZING AND BEYOND TALENTED. Here's the back story, I went to Janet when I was in high school. I lost her after I moved. For years after, I looked for nail techs like her and couldn't find any that compare. Ironically, my best friend this year told me she goes to her and I couldn't believe that I found her! And once again, I am back as her regular. She works further from where I live but I'll take the drive! She's worth it!!!!"
