"This neighborhood has become a renters community with no pride of ownership. The HOA has no accountability resulting in unsightly yards, homes, and filthy amenities. The HOA fees are higher than some of the nearby communities yet amenities are not available. Neighbors park garbage trailer for weeks, commercial trucks block the flow of traffic. The DR Horton staff uses the community offices and spaces for their own use preventing the actual community from using it for events. This is a great community for renters! Buyers beware."

"Beautiful homes the only problem I have is you don't get to select all your choices in each area. Like brick or floors and cabinet,ect. That's alot of money to live in without allowing you choices. The house plan was perfect would have worked and they could have sold me a house. This issue stops them with me."

"Please don't be deceived by the ratings that must have been conjured to boost the reviews fraudulently. This company is the worst builder to buy a house from. From the rude, disrespectful and unprofessional sales people who lack any form of respect for themselves as well as their customers .We worked with a sales person called Courtney ,she was very hard to reach and communicate with and would not give feedback promptly., We also has a clueless builder who left half of the house undone and was full of lies about when he will complete so many jobs which he didn't complete till after the closing date( the sod was badly laid, the blinds were missing rods, the toilets didn't meet the standard code and had to be taken out the day before closing, the water company found a problem when they inspected and couldn't connect our water supply and more ) . He sent a text message as a means of signing for the gutter when it was "supposed" to be done: whatever happened to formal emails? Gutters were promised and not fixed till after the closing date with no apologies. The fireplace started leaking water when rain came pouring in within the first three weeks of moving in because the chimney cap was not put in at all !!!!! .The toilets were all backing up within the three weeks of closing and took the plumber three days to try and unclog because it was a "MAJOR" construction problem. Completely unacceptable .There is the incompetent title company that should be replaced, filled with staff that cannot give feedback efficiently and needed two days before closing could be done. If you want to have a sane experience and not a ride in the jungle, avoid this builder like a plague."

"I spoke with one of the managers there. As an African American, not one of the salespersons people greeted us the entire time we were on their premises. It was by far one of the worst experiences of racism I have ever lived through. I am sure the homes are exquisite. However, if a sales representative can not acknowledge me being there, my money will be invested elsewhere."

"High HOA Fees nearly $1600 a year, higher property taxes then when I resided in Queens NYC, I paid nearly 10 grand a year in NYC here in Katy nearly 16,000 a year. Awful HOA service. We have one pool that is shared amongst hundreds of homes. We were sold on the promise of a second pool opening and that is no longer happening. Its only open 3 months of the entire year. Beautiful entrance and landscape and I am satisfied with our home but the sheer lack of acknowledging the communities request regarding a community meeting and extending pool hours throughout the year let alone building another pool and upkeep with the gym leaves me no choice but to rate our community with a 1 star."
