Turquoise Acres Ranch is a family-friendly petting farm and event venue located at 3550 Schlipf Road in Katy, Texas. Our ranch offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing families and friends to connect with nature and animals in a serene environment.
Whether you're looking to host a private pool party, celebrate a special occasion like a quinceañera or wedding, or simply enjoy a day out with loved ones, Turquoise Acres Ranch has something for everyone. Our 1500 sqft banquet hall is ideal for intimate gatherings of up to 85 guests, while our outdoor event venue provides a picturesque setting for outdoor celebrations.
In addition to our event spaces, we offer a range of activities such as animal feeding, ATV rides, fishing in our stocked pond, and relaxing by the pool or hot tub. Guests can also explore our petting farm and get up close and personal with our resident animals, including Texas longhorns.
For school groups and daycares, we offer educational field trips that include hands-on experiences with farm animals and playground time under the shade of our oak trees. Our ranch is just a short drive from Houston, making it a convenient and fun destination for school outings.

"Our family had an incredible experience at Turquoise Acres Ranch! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine love for creating memorable experiences. The array of kid-friendly activities, including the petting zoo, pool, and animal feeding, kept our children entertained for hours on end. "Love this place!!! Every event I have attended at this family owned ranch has been such a great experience!! Bethany is always so helpful and accommodating! It's a fun place to take little kids to feed the animals and there is so much outdoor space to enjoy as well! The most recent event I attended was a vow renewal ceremony, and it was perfect! The indoor venue is great for smaller groups 50-80 people It was so clean, and the event was well organized. Parking is simple, and close to the building. I cannot say enough positive things about this property and venue. They'll give you a tour of the property, if you are looking for a local place to hold your next birthday party or any celebration, you have to go check it out!"
