Farmers Insurance - Gary Kuketz

"I don’t want to tank your stars, but having a google street view image of our home visible on the OUTSIDE is creepy and I’m begging you to not use this tactic anymore."

"Literally just called for a homeowners insurance quote. I called for a quote and spoke with Madellyn, the conversation was going pretty typically answering normal questions for my quote. Once we got to my DOB, I said I did not want to provide any personal information- I do not want to be bombarded with crazy ads via mail or to my email address, as I am sure many people can relate to. She explained that she would need it for the quote, I gave it to her- but also explained that I would not be providing and email address. She sounded as if she was annoyed with this response and this is where the conversation basically ended and then she proceeded to hang up on me. I called back, Madellyn answered. I asked to speak to someone else, and this is when Gary got on the phone. I explained the situation, he didn't understand why I called back. I said she was basically rude, and he said "so you called back?", "so did you still want the quote?". No Gary I wanted an apology for her disrespectful behavior, maybe a little bit of customer service. I guess with the ridiculous rates insurances are charging, they don't think that being respectful is something they need to provide anymore."

With our small ranch operation not a lot of other large carriers wanted our business - Standard wouldn't touch us because of the value involved - had absolutely no problems and work with him every year to hold our rates to the lowest possible - but they still increase - like they do with everyone. I like his can-do attitude and helpful office staff. Always calls back within the hour - great to do business with the same person every time - a lot better from my perspective than an 800 number in Phoenix!"

"Mr Kuketz told me he wouldn't accept me as a customer since I was disappointed in my current Farmers agent that was his friend.I was just wanting to change agents and keep my policy. I found Mrs. Linda Yarborough at 400 north Main in Grapevine to be very helpful. She seemed to be more concerned about customers service and less about office politics. I am happy with Farmers but think they might want to take a look at who they are employing!"
