"The facility is new and clean. They recently moved to Southlake. When I walked in both of the front ladies were on the phone helping patients and there was no sign in sheet so I waited and watched and listened. HIPAA VIOLATIONS out the wazzooo! Saying names, dates if birth, procedures loudly. Phones are ringing off the hook, pretty blonde manager Erin standing talking to heavy short manager watching the patients wait and the phone ring and people waiting to check in. The managers were both wearing short dresses with visible tattoos. They laughed and discussed how they must have planned the matching outfits. The blonde Erin had a visible upper leg tattoo and high chunky heals with a foot totoo as well. A man in a blue Touchstone shirt was talking and laughing loudly with them while an elderly couple with a walker and I stood waiting to check in and the phones rang. I work in the medical field and know that this is inappropriate. I think that for the money they invested in the new place, some staff training and HIPAA training is a must. Who wants to hear their name, birthday, procedure and co pay announced to the waiting room?"
"Came in and had an MRI on my knee. GREAT experience from start to finish. Everyone is very helpful and the MRI tech, Soney, answered all of my questions and put me at ease...loved the heated blankets too!"
"Not a fan. It should be illegal to tell people your hours are 8:30am -4:30pm and not schedule xray technician coverage for that time period. I arrived with the paperwork for my 6 year old's xray at about noon, got her checked in. After a little while i asked how long the wait would be since there was no one else waiting, and the guy at the desk was like " i don't know, let me check"... came back that there was no one who could perform the scan until after 1pm, and we would have just been waiting with no information if i hadn't asked. Now i have insurance through my work and my job is how we pay the bills, like for the $200+ out of pocket for the xray. it's frustrating for a service business to be that disrespectful of your time, when you need to get back to work to pay for the services they offer. Even worse when you are already dealing with a child's pain that the child doesn't understand and you have no answers of how to make it better and that's why you need the imaging."
