"I was approached by a roofing contractor company about getting my roof fixed. They ensured me they would be able to help in April as there was hail damage to my roof. They made me put in a claim with my insurance company and sign papers for them to help me. On June 20, 2023, I was advised my case was rare and they are no longer willing to associate with my case and closed it out. The told me they are no longer willing or able to assist me. I asked did they know of any companies that I could get my roof financed for assistance with my roof and they provided information. I applied for a personal loan after being advised the file was closed. I was approved and now they are saying I was still under contract. They are bullying, harassing, threatening with emails and text to make me get my roof fixed with them. I explained to them I was approved for the loan after they informed me the file was closed and they were unable to assist me. In the email, there were several things they indicated I needed to take care of prior to going back to my insurance company for further assistance and they disassociate themselves from the file. They are trying to say I canceled with them because I informed them I found another roofing company that is local to assist me. I feel that prior to them closing they file, they should have offered financing and then I would have still been under contract. However, they notified me of closing the file prior to approval of the personal loan. Therefore, they breached the contract and I should not be obligated to work with them. I have not completed any of the task they informed me needed to be done and only was approved for funds through a personal loan. They have been using threatening tactics by saying they are going to take a lean out on my home because I was under contract. However, they canceled services with me. Therefore, there was no contract. I received emails, home visit and text from three different members associated with the case all day yesterday, up units 12am this morning."
