"Had a complete bike built here, along with complex and high-end composite Berd spokes. John Proctor is a super-nice guy but he'll be honest with you about what's best. It's Pro Bikes, not Wal-Mart, take your cruiser bikes elsewhere. If you have a high quality bike and care about top performance, take it to the best bike mechanic in Houston."

"I am very grateful for finding this gem of a bike shop! John is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly has the best interest of his customers in mind. I was blown away with my first experience buying 1 little LED light. John’s welcomed me in the shop, showed me around, demoed the light and offered sound advice. I returned today to get their help finish building a MTB for my son with little time to spare before Christmas (with no appointment). John went above and beyond what I was expecting them to do! Keep up the great work!"

"Happened to be on this side of town and found this place on a whim to try and get a fork and bottom bracket replaced. John was able to knock this out with quick turn around. Also found some issues with with my drivetrain that he was able to take care of as well. John and Pablo are super friendly and offer great service."

"This place only services top of the line bikes I guess. They quickly referred me to another bike shop to do a “tune up” which is basically tightening all the screws on my bike. They said they are so backed up that they don’t have time to turn the wrench a few times to fix my problem with 1 bike and to replace a inner tube on my other bike. I called ahead to let them know I was coming and no one told me anything about being “backed up” with so much work they can’t grab a wrench and turn a couple bolts and throw a inner tube on the other bike. I was also looking to buy a new seat for one of the bikes but wasn’t able to get that far. Overall I didn’t get the sense they wanted to help me with my bikes. I don’t like the fact that they pick and choose which bikes they will tighten screws on. I fixed both bikes myself with common tools and replaced the inner tube on one all in under 20 mins. I was willing to pay 150.00- 200.00 to get the bikes fixed without getting my hands dirty but I am glad I didn’t have to pay. overall not a good experience"

"I have been going to John and Pablo for service/repair for the past 2 years every time I see them they do an amazing job and make my bike feel brand new again. I’ve visited plenty of other shops and in my experience they are by far the best bike mechanics in Houston. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment at pro bikes."
