"Seriously some of the rudest sales people I've ever dealt with in the Houston area but, I gave an extra star for the small piece of useful advice I received. Other than that, they act like they have no time for customer interaction at all. Their store hours claim they open at 10am. I called at 10:15am and was told they were in the process of opening and to call back in 15min just to find out the price of one particular item. It's possible their hours are just displayed incorrectly online (on their own website) but, it creates situations that can and will annoy customers. The woman who answers the phone never has any idea what I'm asking about and has done nothing but get an attitude and refer me to other employees. I was told that it would cost almost $40 for them to just LOOK at my marker in case it had any faults. They're overpriced and apparently don't care about return customers, as long as they get that initial sale. Tank's not only did it for free, they allowed me use of the range and provided the paintballs so that I could check it for myself as well. I won't be going back the Paintball Store and I strongly suggest anyone who hears of this sad excuse of a company to find somewhere else to do their business. I recommend ProEdge or Tank's for service and prices."

"Never buy paintball in this place. The quality of paint that they sell here does not match the price, they sold me about 3 boxes of paint at 40 dollars each. I have never bought something so useless in these 2 years since I started playing, they are garbage. I asked for a refund and they never gave me a refund and they completely refused to serve me as a customer, they only changed 2 paintball boxes for another 2 supposedly of better quality and they are the same as the previous ones and much more expensive (68 dollars) do not spend your money in that location"

"He said, "Don't come here," and he was right. I called this store, and I'm guessing the owner answered the phone. I asked a simple question: Are you open today? He rattled off the times and days for the ENTIRE week (I didn't ask him that). I asked him how much it would cost to refill my CO2 cannisters, and he said $9 (it was previously $7). I told him that I would be bringing a scale since my previous experience with this store was that the cannisters felt very light. He read me the riot act and told me not to come. He explained that the cannisters can only hold so much, no reason to weigh the cannisters. I found him to be very condescending; this man loves the sound of his voice and doesn't have a very good sense of customer service. As one door closes, another opens. I searched for another place to refill my CO2 cannisters, and I found The Grain Cellar (TGS) in Humble. I called, and the man who answered, most likely the owner, was soooo nice, and the refills were much less expensive ($3 less). When I went with my cannisters today, I had placed them in the freezer before going (the Paintball Store told me that would be best when I had to refill my cannisters). TGS owner told me that wasn't necessary since he has to take the internal temperature even lower than a freezer can get. He injected some CO2 into the cannister to reduce the temperature, then vented it out. This way the CO2 could be refilled completely and correctly. He even had a scale to ensure the refill weight was correct (as opposed to the Paintball Store, which said that he refused to weigh the cannisters). While I was there, I got a lesson in combucha, the probiotics produced, and which he grows. TGS knows how to treat its customers, and I'll be writing a review on their own link because they deserve customers -- a great experience. And TGS is listed under my review of the Paintball Store in case anybody else is looking for a business that treats its customers with respect. Yes, TGS it's a little bit further, but I would rather drive the distance, even with gas prices the way they are, rather than give money to a business that doesn't want me there."

"The negative reviews posted are very false. I walked in today around an hour before closing to buy paintballs, The employee was very helpful (I'm assuming he was the only one working at the time as he was the only one I saw in the store), and actually helped me buy a few other pieces of gear. He was straight to the point and described benefits to why you'd prefer one over the other. He also stated other services they provide, including marker repair, and hydro-testing HPA tanks. If you need a great paintball shop for just about everything you need (Essentials). This place is perfect for you."

"Agree with the hours comment below. Called and said would be open. Drove 2 hours for a sign on the door to say closed. Phones redirected to someone who said might be open in a few hours but no guarantee. Had a warehouse emergency and had to go count warehouse. Not hanging around for 2-3 hours for a no guarantee to be open. I'm a big fan of supporting business but online shopping is guaranteed to be open."
