"I'm very disappointed. I was under the impression that this guy's were professionals when it came to skiing, or at least they knew what they were doing. I bought two pairs of ski boots from them. Both pairs were measured wrong. The sad part was that I bought the boots months ahead of the ski season, and the time for returning them had passed. The store employee bragged that he and all of them had broad experience on skiing. They told me that ski boots need to be super tight. Now I know they were wrong, and they don't know anything about skiing. The first pair I bought, when I got on the skis, I couldn't even move 30 feet when the pain was too much. I ended up taking off my ski boots and renting so I could ski. When I came back to Houston, I went to the store, tried to exchange the boots, and explained to them what the problem was. They said it was an easy fix. They sold me some insoles and said with those insoles I wasn't going to have the problem again. Next ski season, same problem, and again ended up renting boots so I could ski. When I got back to Houston, I went to the store, and they said that there had been too long since I bought the boots that an exchange or return was not an option. They told me that I needed a different kind of boot. I made the mistake of trusting Sun and Ski again. I was telling the employee that the boot felt too tight. The employee insisted that it was the way it should be. He argued that the tighter the boots, the better turns you will be able to make. Long story short. I'm a size 9 on shoes. At Sun and Ski, they were saying that it was the perfect boot. Since ski boots have a different numeric size, I was unaware that they were giving me a size 7. This 2024, when I went skiing, I managed to ski two days with those boots out of 5 days. Then I went to a local ski rental store where I was skiing. They told me that the boots were measured wrong. That the boots were 2 sizes smaller and that they didn't know how I was able to withstand the pain. They even said that I was lucky not to have a broken ankle. They gave me the right size boots, i rented them and was able to ski just fine. Two months have passed since, and I still have pain on my left foot. Don't trust Sun and Ski. They don't know anything about skiing, I wasted over $1,400 on two pair of ski boots because a store employee misled me. The company should hire employees who know what they are doing. The company lack of care is shown by hiring employees who don't have the expertise. It also shows that the company doesn't care for its customers by not taking responsibility for their mistakes. DO NOT BUY Skis and Boots at this place. You will be much better off purchasing at a local ski shop wherever you ski because the people there learned to ski before walking, and they know the business. To make matters worse, I had my boots fitted to the skis at Sun and Ski. Sun and Ski did that wrong as well. DON'T TRUST SUN & SKI. Never buy from them."
