"This place is great!!! What a wealth of local and state information. They have it divided into regions and is better organized than any other place I've been. The staff are amazing and willing to help with wherever you want no matter the length of your trip. The outside has lots of construction going on but they are definitely OPEN!! "Everything IS bigger in Texas! This welcome center/ tourist information center is much more than that and one which I was not expecting. This place is more of a zen garden, with beautiful water features and rolling water fall. This is such a peaceful place in the midst of all the chaos! People inside were/ are beyond friendly, helpful and well informed. Only drawback is that they close at 17:00. Wish they were open 24/7."
