My son asked for buddy bucks and she very rudely told us to "WAIT" so my daughter went to another young lady cashier and she gave her the buddy bucks right away. "Bennie Martinez in the floral department went above and beyond her knowledge of floral design to an altruistic and very selfless act to a complete stranger on a phone- line in Corpus. After placing an order for a floral arrangement for a hospitalized friend at Valley Baptist Hospital, I attempted to setup outside delivery, because delivery wasn't offered at this location. Bennie offered to deliver it personally, if I couldn't set it up. I didn't want to impose on her kindness. After proceeding to setup an account with a cash app for delivery, I got a call from my bank informing me of fraudulent charges made and therefore had to cancel my Visa. It was then, that I accepted Bennie's offer to deliver the floral arrangement, not knowing at the time it would be also imposing on her lunch break. Bennie 's compassion, kindness and selfless actions went above and beyond her duties. All the while and the same time imposing and limiting her lunch break to deliver that floral arrangement. I don't have enough words to thank her selfless generosity. Her altruistic actions are truly inspirational and an example to all of us."
