Hank's Farm Restaurant

"We have eaten at Hank’s farm several times since moving here last July. The staff is very accommodating and very friendly. The interior is an authentic old barn with stained glass hanging lamps and beautiful wood decor. It is quite cozy and the noise level is comfortable. The salad bar has a wonderful selection including various home baked breads and a larger than life round of cheddar cheese for carving. One thing I really enjoy is that the lettuce is mixed spring greens plus iceberg lettuce, where as most other restaurants in the area only serve iceberg. We have tried various dishes such as steak, seafood, pastas. All were consistently delicious, not salty and large portions. Dessert was lovely as well. If you leave Hank’s hungry, you didn’t visit Hank’s! Take your special someone or family for an enjoyable evening."

"As soon as you walk in the door the smell is so inviting. We were greeted with smiles . We was there for the Sunday Brunch. You do need reservations n i can see why they are very busy, it's a popular place and the food was to as delicious as the smell when you walk in. Nice variety . And dessert there's so many options my friend and I just filled a big plate of a variety . It's a lil pricey but for the service n quality of food you get n how much you get its totally worth it. I do highly recommend this place if your in the area. Remember make a reservation! No reservations are needed except on Sundays but wouldn't hurt to make one"

"Wow! What a delightful surprise to find this restaurant in the heart of farm country, Ottawa, Illinois! Who would have guessed such a delightful gift shop, charming servers, full smorgasbord-style food and exquisite dessert bars, fully-stocked bar, with a separate party room, would be located there? It worked out great for my niece's shower. The men were happy at the bar while the women socialized before the meal. Everyone enjoyed the food and dessert bar."

"We hadn't eaten at Hank's since 2014. We were in the area and decided to rediscover the great food and unique atmosphere. I ordered the chicken Oscar which was flattened and battered and then fried chicken breast with a sauce and crab meat. It also has cooked asparagus with a baked potato side. Their salad bar is wonderful with several choices. Their homemade bread is great. The place was very busy so we dined in the bar area. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. It was a good choice at the end of a buying trip for our Red Coach Antiques."
