"Dr. Tom and his lovely team are wonderful. Professional, polite and kind. They do great work. Most importantly they get me and my family. They know how to build well with their audience. The fact is they take good care of you. For a lot of people the dentist is not the best place to be, but they make you feel comfortable and ready. My first thought was they are doing too much with the camera, pictures, TVs and modern technology and equipment. I thought they were going to be pushing for more work than was necessary, but no, they show you exactly what is going on and what you need. I loved the whole experience. Your team is the best. I'm glad I found you."

"Update 2/9/2024 to also add pictures of my new smile. I really cannot recommend this dentist enough. He has helped me a ton with trusting dentists again. He gave me back my smile, I haven't open mouth smiled on purpose for years, it feels so good. Even my adjustments for my for my flexible denture was a cake walk. I never once developed ulcers and he got me in the next day every time I asked for an adjustment. And even then once he does the adjustment I rarely have to come back. Even my child wants to get cavities filled now because of how easy and stress-free he made it for her. The shots never hurt her either and she has a huge needle phobia which is why its taken so long to get her cavities filled. I am so glad I found Dr. Yun. Thank you so, so much. __________ Update 7/13/2023 I wanted to update my review to just state how amazing this dentist is. Novocain shots don't hurt at all for me, I swear he is a wizard. I always used to dread those shots but so far both times have been absolutely pain free. I am glad that I decided to give him a try after some bad situations with a different dentist as he was only for my kiddo originally. He communicates extremely well what he is doing and is very informative. He has dealt with my dental anxiety extremely well. I would recommend him to everyone. Hopefully in a few months I can smile again. Thank you. __________ If you need an emergency dentist in Elgin, this is the one to call. I called nearly every dentist that lists emergency dentistry in Elgin and every single one either didn't pick up nor returned my call on Labor day except Dr. Yun. He was able to get my kiddo in and taken care of no problem. Will be returning to this place for kiddo's dental needs cause it seems like he actually cared and is an actual emergency dentist when needed. Thank you."

"I have been seeing Dr. Tom for 2 years (since I have been in Elgin). Previously, I have been a nervous wreck and filled with anxiety when seeing the dentist - even for cleanings. At my first visit, Dr. Tom put me at ease - he was listening to me, really listening. After hearing me, we talked through a plan for work I needed to have done. This included: filling cavities, periodontal work and regular deep cleanings. He worked seamlessly with the periodontist where I needed to have my bottom front teeth pulled and posts put in. He then made the bridge and my teeth look and feel great. I also had my teeth whitened before the bridge got put in - he did a fabulous job. Dr. Tom knows me and where my teeth are sensitive he puts down numbing gel before the cleanings so I'm not anxious at all. He always shows me on screen where the cavities or problems are and we make decisions together about how to move forward. Also, the staff know me by name and are friendly and kind. Dr. Tom is a gentle, kind, extremely intelligent and knowledgeable and really listens. He is the best dentist I have ever gone to in my life - go see him - truly you will not regret it."
