"Upon checkin for my scheduled appointment I was greeted with poor customer service. I then proceeded to wait 45 mins past my appointment time only to watch them take a walk in and then never call me back for my appointment. In the future I will use a different pharmacy."

"When Walmart gives better customer service, it says it all. Not only are their pharmacists and technicians here discriminatory against patients prescribed stimulant medications, they decide to make healthcare decisions on a patient's behalf without consulting the patient or provider. With the Adderall shortage, I have been having difficulty filling my prescription, despite being on this medication for years. Despite my provider sending in a prescription, HEB does not keep it "active in the system", requiring you to call daily to see if they have it in stock for it to be filled at all. However, when you do call, they won't tell you if they have it in stock because it's a controlled substance. There's evidently a "waiting list", but you have to call daily to stay on it and a week before your prescription expires they will remove you from it. But also you have to call daily to stay on it. I'm not entirely sure how it works, because I get a different story each time. I've spoken to managers, techs, pharmacists and everyone in between and no one has any idea. I am prescribed two separate dosages of the drug and HEB decided to not fill one because they have a "store policy" of only filling 30 pills. Why a grocery store pharmacy is deciding to make healthcare decisions on behalf of patients without their consent and without the context of the patient's healthcare background or records is beyond me. They of course didn't tell me this. When I called to figure this out, they told me the pharmacist misread that it was a dosage change. Deciding to overstep in the doctor patient relationship is one thing, but doing it recklessly just makes the whole situation worse. The straw that broke the camel's back, however, happened just now when my doctor called me to tell me that they are refusing to fill another prescription. Evidently, the pharmacist states that what I was prescribed is higher than they are willing to fill. Um...what? Even my doctor was flabbergasted and said that the dosage is standard and he doesn't understand why the pharmacist is refusing. I went to another HEB pharmacy who filled it without any issues. So, save yourself the hassle, headache, and quite frankly healthcare risk of using this pharmacy. It is reckless and dangerous for them to be making healthcare decisions for patients based on absolutely 0 information."

"Let me start off by saying I am also a pharmacist so I may be biased but this is definitely the best pharmacy service I have received from a retail pharmacy that I have encountered. Retail pharmacy is the largest collection of angry and bitter patients that I have encountered in my practice but despite that, the staff at this location was more attentive and helpful than any other place that I have been to. I provided my information and within 5 minutes and I was done and on my way. Specifically Jocelyn, the pharmacist squeezed me in right before they closed and I received my COVID vaccine. If you actually want someone who cares about your well-being, come here. If you're just another Karen that wants to complain about things out of the pharmacy's control, I guess keep leaving your bad reviews."

"Honestly the only issue I’ve ever had is now a reoccurring one. I get it that there are back orders and manufacturing dilemmas that are out of their control, but a heads up would be a professional courtesy in my opinion. In stead they like to inform me the day I’m supposed to get a refill and am out of meds, leaving me with mo chance to find a solution. There are serious health risks involved and this is now the third time this has happened this year."
