"I have used Walmart pharmacy in DeSoto on belt-line rd for several years. Everything was good until I turned 65. Most people leave their private insurance and take Medicare but I kept my private insurance with my employer. I can use pharmaceutical discounts by doing it and all the doctors accept private insurance. Well it didn’t workout at all. They tried their best to sell me the medicine without the discount. Not just one person but most of them. I paid full price the last time I was there and decided to make a move. I took my prescriptions to Costco and they did an excellent job of filling my prescriptions with the discount. I should have done it seven years ago. Byby Walmart pharmacy! Thanks to one young man who did great once he learned how to do it. The others had no interest to help me."

"I have been to this Walmart pharmacy twice and each time was horrible. Every time I used this pharmacy I waited over 3 hours to receive my prescription along with poor customer service. The first time I brushed it off as if the employee were just having a bad day, however the second visit, they needed to be held accountable. I tried to be as patient as possible however I was also in a panic because the prescription was needed for a breathing treatment. I asked if it could be prioritized considering the circumstance and I received the most inconsiderate, unsympathetic, and rude response. Misty, the pharmacist in charge of filling the order told me "their were 50 other people in front of me and take a seat." Mind you, I have worked in customer service with the most irate customers you could imagine, so I always try be reasonable and understanding as a customer regarding employees. I was in a panic because this was related to my child, who at the time was having a hard time breathing and needed a breathing treatment at that given moment. At this point, I have been back and forth with them for well over 4 hours, so As you can imagine not only was I frustrated but also in a panic. The way Misty spoke to me with such disregard was shocking. I had to respond to her in the most calmest yet firm tone and tell her "you do not talk to me like that, where is your empathy?" The other employees that worked there were not only rude but also disrespectful. One of them said right in front of me " I need to find a new job." As if I was a burden. I reported this to Blaine who did not respond at all to my complaint and I also proceeded to file a complaint with the corporate office, who also hasn't responded. If you are looking for accountability, empathy, respect, and a friendly environment DO NOT COME TO THIS WALMART PHARMACY. ( this is just a snippet of the experience btw, I don't have time to write the rest. BEWARE!!)"
