"My right mirror was replaced and it looked like they peeled the chip guard off the old one and stuck it on the new one. It’s lifting at the corners and just looks nasty, I brought it to their attention and they hopefully will put a new one on when I have to go back which leads me to the next issue. Upon entering the store to pick up my car, the man said “oh did Melissa call you” of which she did not and he then told me that I had to come back in 2 months and leave my car for a day possibly longer for the hood and fender chip guard to be put on. I WAS SHOCKED that my car was there for a week and they did not put the chip protectors on. Instead he told me that the paint takes TWO MONTHS to cure. Which sounds ridiculous because I know when I bought the car with it it was not sitting in a wear house for 2 months waiting for a chip guard ...... also now I have to worry about chips for the next 2 months ! I already missed work to pick up and drop off the first time and now to have to do it again is so frustrating. I then left and called 3 other body shops in the quad city area one was my uncle who is a mechanic and none of them make anyone wait any amount of time. They all said they would have put it on before I would have received the car. Very inconvenient as I live in Davenport and this is the only in network State Farm shop. I really wish I didn’t have to go back and miss more work in 2 months. This really blows."

"They did a wonderful job with my car the first time I took it to them. This time around I hit a deer, and first was told they would work with me on parts as Melissa couldn't find any used or aftermarket parts available. After finding direct OEM replacement parts, I was told they were not in fact OEM certified and they would not work with them. Then, after doing research into junkyards and finding used parts myself, I was told they aren't interested in going that route because they make their money off of parts, not labor, and I really needed to go with whatever they wanted. Furthermore, the start date for fixing my vehicle was put off by a month after the initial conversation. Essentially, I was told they weren't interested in my business. They make no money off of consumers, only insurance companies, and with it being deer season and snow/ice season, they're not hungry for business because they have lots of insurance claims. Being treated like a number and not a person in this area is rather surprising. If you plan to pay out of pocket and dare wish to save money, I wouldn't recommend this place. They'll tell you to hit the road like they did me."
