"Terrible atmosphere. Stopped by on a “moms day” outing. Had a drink at the bar..all was well. Went outside and took some pics…all was well. Went back inside and asked for shots and were told no. This was 2:30pm on 2/18/24. I didn’t know whether to laugh or take them seriously. Party of three…none of us were belligerent or out of control whatsoever. Nothing of importance even happened. We are 40 year old moms LOL. Just trying to have a good time but apparently that isn’t okay at Public House. Not sure what their problem was but we definitely won’t be back or recommending this place to anyone…EVER!"

"Great pitstop on my way from Chicago to Des Moines to remote work, drink, and watch the Women's World Cup game. Ideal service, nice drinks, fast wifi, best ambiance with music, many TVs, sangria special, and a cool fire pit on the patio."
"Excellent bar with great drinks at a reasonable price. I mostly drink the bloody marys. They use a good mix and dress it up well. It also comes with a small beer chaser and that's a nice touch. The only downside can be when the place is packed it gets super loud. Parking can also be tricky when they and the other businesses in the plaza are busy. Lots of TVs for watching games is nice too."
"My first experience was being invited for a Ladies night, by a great friend and her group of peeps!! I had a great time!! I look forward to going again!!"
