Walmart Pharmacy

"I have avoided WalMart shopping for many reasons, not all of them valid. However, after moving to El Paso about 2 years ago, I have had trouble finding a pharmacy that fits. I tried 2 closer to work, but they seemed to not be able to get my Rx's at times ("supply chain issues") or staff was rude, etc. We tend to shop at this market fairly regularly - no grocery store has everything right? One Sunday, the head pharmacist was greeting customers at the door to offer the flu and RSV vax, no sales job, just a genuine concern. My wife and I are barely seniors now and I could not get the RSV at my most recent pharmacy, even if I offered to pay for it. Long story short, I have transferred all Rx's to this location and could not be more pleased. Even something as seemingly minor as the bottle top design: it is so simple, and effective. (We do have young grandkids that visit.) There are wait times, but I have always had polite service. It all starts with the leadership though, and the head pharmicist here is top level. They have converted a doubter!"

"I cannot praise this location enough! They were more than willing to fill my prescriptions with less than an hour before closing. I tried to fill them at two separate pharmacies (I chose them because they had a drive through) and neither of them would fill it until the following day since it was 5 PM on a Sunday. I was extremely ill and needed the medication that day, so out of desperation I decided it was worth a try to walk in. The pharmacy techs and pharmacist were so kind and made sure to have it ready before closing. I will continue giving them my business!"

"There's multiple reasons for not liking this location. They say your prescription will be ready within a certain time which its not and they then tell you they don't have it all. This has been on more than one occassion. Another reason is I had went in to get a booster shot with all the paperwork already being filled online, the very rude guy working cancelled my appointment because "I wasn't immunocompromised", without even checking my form or asking me if I was, he just cancelled it like nothing. Maybe if he actually checked or asked he would have known instead of judging me by how I looked."

"I used to do my prescriptions at Walgreens. I have absolutely loved coming to this Walmart location to fill my prescriptions now. Very seldom is there a very long wait. Everyone has been very friendly when waiting on me. If I had any complaint, it would be that I wish they could be open 24 hours. Or at least a little earlier and later. Other than that I absolutely LOVE This pharmacy!"

"Worst pharmacy! They never inform me about prescriptions. More than twice I have gone in for meds said to be ready.. and they’re not. RUDE.. who is running this place?!"
