"I was in the store on Friday and couldn't find where the Red Lobster biscuit mix was and a nice employee named Carolyn helped me find it when I thought all hope was lost. She was very cheerful and eager to help me. The store needs more people like her."
"Don't care for the butcher. The meat used to be so good here. And the butcher would cut anything just the way you wanted it. NOT ANYMORE. In truth, I don't shop here very often anymore because of it."

"Berkots locations vary greatly in service & product quality, as well as service & availability of product. The New lenox location is of course in direct competition with Jewel food store nearby, therefore the store is stocked properly & food rotation of new & old product is maintained properly. That being said, the Manhattan store is one of the worst examples of store management I've ever seen, shortages of product, rotation of product is haphazard at best, criminal at worst. Many times I've found expired product on the shelves. Personnel is another problem. Ill prepared representatives, bad mannered reps @ the main desk. Store is dirty & the isle set up is ridiculous. I'd advise you to shop in New Lenox the Manhattan store is a wreck, & they don't seem to care."
