"Came here to post a review about incompetence at the deli, only to find out it's an ongoing problem. Too bad. Stopped at this store yesterday about 4:30 pm to grab the cod special for lent. Only to find out that at a time when people are beginning to get off work, the deli is not prepared to serve its customers. There was only 2 scrawny pieces of cod in the warming area and absolutely none being cooked. Common sense should tell a deli worker that when the cooked supply is down to 10-15 pieces, you should drop more because it's on special and around dinner time. And by the way, there was only one other customer at the deli. After reading other reviews, it appears that the staff is not monitored by management and also poorly trained. Shameful"
"Cheap chicken Monday, is a joke. The wait is atleasy 30 minutes, they don't use the number tickets, so it's just cayus. To top it all off ,never more than 1 person working the chicken counter, if your lucky"
"Another visit to Jewel and another time feeling cheated - out of time and money. I keep falling for their sale price bait and switch only to find bare shelves where sale items would be. An added bonus is the horrible service at the deli and meat counter."
"Not the best place to shop. Produce is hit or miss. Meat is not the best quality. Staff are always friendly but not well stocked. The biggest complaint are there prices are very expensive. I just go to Meijer. Meijer is much better option for better prices and better quality."
"Managers leave the employees to fend for themselves while the group of three is walking around and pointing things out. Never mind the deli is slammed or the cashiers only have two but there’s 70 people in line. Great management skills guy great management skills."
