"Tried to donate a large amount of items. Asked for assistance due to recent surgery. While watching two employees take cigarette break, and go back inside, waited for 20 minutes. Packed truck back up, and went to Goodwill. THEIR LOSS!!"

"Worst place ever! They wouldn’t take a new couch and loveseat for donation because the manager didn’t like the color, they were only 3 months old with no stains or tears. Habitat for Humanity were very happy to take it. Since when is it Morningstar’s job to be interior decorators?"

"I'm giving this place 3 stars only not because of the service, not because of the merchandise but because of the HIGH prices. This is a thrift store one expects to pay less than what one would pay in a retail store for new merchandise, but this place has raised their prices to the ceiling! They have forgotten that they are a mission. They're not a regular business. Just to show you. Who can afford to pay $100.00 for a previously used tabletop Christmas tree? I used to shop here and in the store in New Lenox, but both stores have raised their prices way too high. I don't know who is in charge of setting the prices, but they need to reconsider lowering them so that people who truly need help will be able to afford it."

"My little one came in & took off running. If your a mom you know how stressful that can be. I can say even though that happened, our shopping experience was still delightful. The staff were very accommodating & polite. Let me add that the clothing/shoes are for a more maturer customer. All in all, I recommend them if in need of pieces immediately and for their furniture/appliances."

"I love thrift stores but this place is trash. The associates are talking about one another and are watching you like you are going to steal something. It looked like nothing younger people would wear just stuff that the employees liked. The prices were really high too you could buy something new for basically the same price... Would not go back."
