"Went here with my friends yesterday, the atmosphere is very friendly and the food was great. The inside is nice, clean, and very open. When I first sat down I was a bit shocked with the prices but between three people it was a very fulfilling meal for a reasonable price. We got the Mountain Bulgogi, Bibim Naengmyun, and Pork Belly. I would’ve given it 5 stars but the pork belly was very dry and it left a charred taste in our mouths. But other than that, the side dishes were very good. My personal favorite was the kimchi. I would come here again with my friends."

"Great spot with good quality cuts of meat. The side dishes are fresh and tasty. Lots of Korean flavours to enjoy with a good variety to choose from. We chose a few cuts of beef and the seafood pancake. Would definitely try the other options as well as the soups and noodles. Plenty of parking and a good size dining area with spaced out tables."

"We tried the Silver Platter which more than enough for two and the seafood pancake as an appetizer. The pancake was crispy, delicious and a very generous portion...enough to split with four people. The grills are very fancy and efficient for cooking compared to some other Korean Bbq's I have visited. The star meat is the ribeye, but the brisket and short rib were both tender and juicy as well. The sesame oil is the star dip, but the grains of salt were surpisingly delicious as well. There is a bounty of sides with the silver platter, onoons, eggs, kimchi, soup, pickles. The rice was also nice and sticky. One of my only negatives about the place is that it looks a bit commerical inside, the lighting is very bright...if dimmed a bit and maybe some candle or lamp lighting at the table, it would be a much more romantic atmosphere. Overall I'd give this a 9.0/10 and will definitely be back!"

"Hopefully the third time is the charm with this location! Chicago Galbi House is on the corner between the spa and the Wendys on the island in this area. There's plenty of parking space and seating for about 80+ patrons. Tonight the noodle entrees and the Daikon/Jalapeno banchan were all out but we were still able to get a good fare of food around. I ordered the spicy stir-fried pork dish with a mellow sweet and spicy sauce, while we had the kimchi pancake (kimchi-jeon) and the mountain bulgogi. As others have mentioned there are unlimited sides with your order, but chances are you'll only need to go with 2-3 rounds if you like them, otherwise they appear to go to waste if you replace them. Ian and Min were very helpful in recommending what to try and anything else we requested tonight. Props to them. The nappa Kimchi here still is at its early stages of fermentation. Loved the cucumber kimchi, the fish cake, and the Daikon/jalapeno. The lita squash was a little mid though. The entrees arrived very quickly and we were able to demolish most of the meal after it was cooked. Outside of having my tongue cooked from eating the mountain bulgogi within the spicy pork plate, this is a welcoming Korean restaurant that you should definitely check out."

"We came here for the soft opening and the staff were very welcoming. The restaurant was so clean and the tables were already set up for diners. The food was delicious and the side dishes are unlimited. I would recommend looking at their Specials, especially their Mountain Bulgogi, as it was very filling and a fun experience overall!"
