"I needed to find a soul food caterer for a company event and I found Mandy's online THANKFULLY they could complete our catering order last minute for pick up on a Monday morning (I placed the order Friday). Let me start by saying the food was fresh, hot, ready at the scheduled pick-up time, packaged well, and DELICIOUS! Our lunch event was a success and EVERYONE loved the food! NOTHING WAS LEFT!!!!! NO LEFTOVERS! LOL Everyone was asking where I got the food! THANK YOU MANDY'S - THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!"

"My first and last. I drove in from the city to taste the food here. I was interested in possibly placing a catering order. We waited 30 minutes for our order to dine. The short ribs were cold, and the seasoning on the greens and blackeyed peas was not appetizing. The mashed potatoes were decent, but I did not like the gravy. The cornbread muffin was dry and crumbled before taking it out of the wrapper. The chicken tasted like cooking grease. The sweet potato pie and sweet potatoes were good."

"This is my first time ordering food from Mandy’s. I ordered the three catfish steak platter with two sides and cornbread. For the sides, I got greens and cabbage. The catfish steaks were thick, had the perfect flavor, and were breaded just right. The greens were to die for, and the cabbage was just as good! The cornbread was ok. It was a little soggy, but that could have been because I ordered my meal to go. The staff was extremely personable and made the experience that much better. The only downside was the wait time. It took about 30 minutes to get my food. I arrived at 515, though, so I’m sure it is their busy time. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience eating here and will return when I’m in the area."

"I went there and there was metal fried into my chicken and when I brought it back the women at the register she said and I quote “ I wasn’t here yesterday working so there is nothing I can do about it.”and dismissed me. I found two pieces of metal in the chicken so I couldn’t even eat it. She could’ve at least tried to solve the issue. I just wanted my issue solved. But I went home with metal in my inedible chicken."

"Omg I ordered the Jerk Chicken pasta and Shrimp dinner with macaroni and cheese, and sweet potatoes. Don’t judge me I’m a legit foodie and Chef. My mother ordered the Catfish Steak dinner with green beans, and macaroni and cheese. For dessert we both had the peach cobbler, and i also had a banana pudding. When I say the Jerk pasta was amazing so spicy and creamy. It was the perfect sauce to noodle ratio. The Chef put so much love in that dish. The pasta was so good I couldn’t stop eating the pasta and didn’t even eat the chicken on top. My mother said the fish was the best she had in a long time. She said the fish was fresh , and as well as the Shrimp. The dessert was amazing. Is somebodies Big Ma in the kitchen cooking? The food was worth every penny and I will be back the best $80 I ever spent on food, drinks, and dessert. Five stars I would give 6 if I could. As a chef and caterer your business was on point with flavors, and presentation, and technique. I love to support my fellow black businesses. You have a forever customer and it’s hard to find good soul food in the suburbs."
