"I have taken both my cars to Western Tire and Auto several times. I have finally had enough of the poor workmanship. The most consistent theme for the shop is that they do not effectively diagnose and they do not listen to what is stated when a vehicle is initially brought into the shop. In the last situation I provided a written explanation of what the continuing mechanical issue was as well as what THEY had done in previous efforts to repair the problem. The counter person did NOT provide this written summary to Terry. Terry then called me telling me that he could find nothing wrong with the car. As I began to tell him exactly what I had put in the typed note, Terry let me know that he did not receive it. And after I told him what was occurring, he said he would drive it again. Terry then came back with I don’t know what it is, you have to take it to the dealership. This is after Western Auto had completed $1100 worth of work in ignition coils and spark plugs. Western Auto had looked at my car three times to determine what was wrong. Never successfully fixing my car but costing me $1100. Having lost ANY confidence in their ability I took my car to another shop where they located the problem of a cracked spark plug with teflon tape wrapped around it, that was put in by Western Auto. The other garage did some simple diagnostic work of swapping out ignition coil packs and pulling spark plugs to find the issue. Western Auto couldn’t be bothered to do this kind of simple inspection. They also lost one of the locking nut to my wife’s wheels, swearing they did not lose it. It was ONLY at their shop. Their incompetence and lack of detail has cost me time and money. If you value either of these, do not use Western Auto and Tire in St Peters."

Fair in their pricing and they recommend products/parts that give you the most bank for your buck.
