"My husband, son and I stopped by to eat some beignets and ate there. We ordered the specialty 3 pack of beignets, a kids chicken tender basket that comes with a side beignet and regular beignets (to-go). Phoenix took out order and was very kind, professional, thoughtful and courteous. He asked if we wanted them to wait to make the beignets to go so they'd be more fresh when we leave and we said yes. When we went to sit down, he brought us a couple of waters without us even asking. The chicken tenders were so delicious, moist, flavorful and perfectly crunchy. My son loved it as did my husband and I. The side sauce they serve with the tenders is delicious. The regular beignets are fantastic; they're light, airy, don't feel greasy and perfectly tender. I will go as much to say they're way better than Cafe DuMonde's beignets in NOLA and a close 2nd to Mr. B's Bakery (a hole-in-the-wall bakery) in NOLA. My son doesn't like bread (pancakes, muffins, bread, French toast, etc.) and he absolutely loves the beignet. The specialty beignets were so darn delicious that my mouth is watering just think about them! We got cream cheese, blueberry, and churro honey butter they were all absolutely great, but the churro one was my favorite. We will definitely return and inform our family and friends to visit as well for their delicious beignets and the awesome customer service."

"Stopped by The Beignet Stand at 0830 on a Saturday morning. San Antonio had clearly not woken up yet, because traffic was light and there were only two people seated. I expected this place to be a food truck, so I was surprised to see a building with outdoor seating. Very cool. I was greeted walking up to order and farewelled walking away with my order. Service was outstanding. All the food is made to order so it took about 10 minutes and then I was quickly on my way. I was bringing these 30 minutes to the far West side, and they packaging retained it's heat and they were still super fresh when we ended up eating them. The bacon egg and cheese Beignet was amazing. I think it has a garlic aoli on it that's not mentioned on the menu, and usually I ask for that to be removed, but it wasn't overpowering. Absolutely delicious. The specialty beignets actually come in packs of three and you can mix and match flavors. So, we tried them all. The fruit flavors were my favorite. We also grabbed a bag of churro Beignet bites with Nutella dip and those were great. Kids loved them. Highly recommend the drive here, they'll stay hot till you get home."

"Cute little stand! The beignets are nice and fluffy. The dough is thicker than what I prefer but still good. While the bites are nice, i personally like the regular size beignets. We ordered the chicken and beignet basket and the chicken pieces were huge!"
