LVL 29 at Legacy West

"The concierge, Valet and maintenance staff were really the highlight of our stay here. These people are hands down amazing, wonderful individuals that should be applauded for all their work and dedication to the residents. If I could bring them all to the current apartment high rise I am living in now, I would. During the duration of our lease we had the following incidents occur: - upon moving in, 1 month later, during the coldest time of the year, the 11th floor AC/heat units went out for 4 days straight! I bought a personal heater because of this incident. It happened again a few weeks ago before my lease was up. - we had a glass window of an apartment (high up) shattered which landed in the pool and the pool deck, upon my investigation and confronting management as to how this happened, if our windows are safe and if us residents were safe, they claimed they did not know what happened and that they would get back to me to ensure our safety, which they NEVER did. I still have the emails that they never responded to. They swept it under the rug like a window didn't shatter for no reason at all. To which we discovered from the Windrose tower that it was an incident with a gun... - cops showed up at least 6 times to this building... once again with no notice, management swept all of this under the rug, giving no reassurance to the residents safety. - vehicles were stolen from our garage. - a week before my lease was up, concierge reached out and notified me that there was a pool of blood in my parking spot and were asking if I was okay (which is very kind of them.) Upon our arrival, there was an abnormal amount of blood (indeed a pool of blood, which was shocking) in my car parking space passenger side door on the 6th floor... which lead all the way in the hallways leading up to the elevator. Once again, EVERYTHING swept under the rug with management. To say that we felt that management has the best intentions for their residents, probably not true. With all of the secrets being kept, the extreme chains of events that have occurred and the multitude of cops being called for our residents, we did not feel safe being here which is ultimately why we decided to move at the end of our lease. Additionally, the elevators are always broken, I personally know a few residents that live here and have gotten stuck. One which mentioned the elevator dropped him a few floors while he was stuck on it. There will be random emergency evacuation alarms that will go off. This happened 3 times on the 11th floor where I was on. The hot tub has been broken during the cold season when you really want to use it. The walls are not sounds proof at all. The location is ideal and right off of Legacy which is nice, but really, for everything they are tying to do and trying to cover up (with whatever shady things are happening with residents) and the reason why cops are being called, pools of blood showing up in the garage, etc etc. I would value my own personal safety over location at this point."

"I recently moved to LVL29, and I regret moving here immediately and I’m stuck with it until my lease ends. At first, they entered my apartment without any notice, and it wasn’t even an emergency. People from the office are not so nice(except Jen) with residents, and they keep sending out emails on if you do this or if you don’t do this there will be a charge. It’s like I’m back in high school again. Even though they charge you a good amount of money for "lifestyle" and valet trash, they are so picky about just picking up trash. I just had a box that I forgot to fold, and they took pictures of it and sent it to my email, saying if you do this again there will be a charge and blah, blah. There are just too many unnecessary rules and aggressive emails which it makes it hard for resident to be comfortable. They also use low quality appliances(dishwasher is so cheap that doesn’t even clean it’s just waste of electricity- other units experienced the same thing). They charge you $175 a month for lifestyle, but they don’t even let Uber bring your food up, so you have to go down. This is not a luxury place and not worth the money, too many issues with it. Pros: Location is perfect though you are close to everything. Your neighbors are awesome and nice. Hallway always smell good. Nice views on top floors"

"LVL29 is spectacular!! It is like a luxury resort located next to Legacy West - premium shopping and dining area in Plano, TX. LVL29 is home to me. I am living here for almost a year and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. Melanie Shepard - Executive Director and her team - Carolina Pearce, Amanda Baker and Jen Garner are a fabulous team. They are extremely friendly, supportive and ready to accommodate all requirements. The concierge team led by Francisco is awesome, very friendly, makes you feel comfortable at all times. The maintenance team led by Shane is superb and very effective. The overall experience has been just great. They have weekly calendar of events and social activities which is amazing. The quality and features of the amenities here are no less than luxury resort similar to Ritz Carlton, JW Marriott etc. I highly recommend LVL29 to anyone looking for a luxury living with a feeling of a cozy home and spending time with extremely warm, supportive and friendly staff. And even though I go between my Ranch and here, I take a deep breath when I enter this elegant high rise knowing I’m home! The staff is really family here and we take care of each other!
