"I pay at least 6k a year for 5 years with this company. I had a surgery and they didn’t pay anything. So now I’m stuck with an 8k bill."

"Unfortunately, most people are stuck with this insurance due to their employers. This is a self-funded insurance group for employers, so the employer only has to pay for the actual claims, instead of projected claims. Like others have said, most providers have not heard of this insurance, their website is COMPLETELY outdated, you must have authorization for EVERYTHING even though it's a PPO plan, and often you pay more than the plan does. Caprock is an absolute joke, I HATE this insurance. If you need help, it will take an agent at least two weeks to get a hold of your benefits coordinator with any answers. My favorite was how she told my husband, "The insurance works if you use our in-network providers." She also told me that I need to say I have, "Caprock Insurance with Imagine Health Providers." I shouldn't have to say all of that, because most doctor's offices know their insurance companies; if they don't then they ask you for all of the information on your card. She also had the audacity to say I had a PPO, I don't need a referral, when my doctor's office wanted to make sure they were sending the information to the correct SPECIALIST in the office. That's why they wanted to send over a referral. All around terrible customer service. They lack common courtesy, tact, and a brain."

"I PAY & PAY, Caprock Doesn't cover .. Awful ,Cheep & a Rip off !!! . My company deducts from my check, and Caprock does Not cover much, Maybe 30 % of my bill . I guess I'm paying the Rent For this Sub- standard coverage company . . This should be called Craprock. I had to put 1 star to submit this..0 ZERO STARS. I hope I didn't raise their ratings any. 1.9 out of 9 reviews, Sad.!"

"I got this insurance from my father's employer; it's a nightmare. No doctors or pharmacies have ever heard of it. When you call and they give you contact information for doctors that are "in your network," you go to make an appointment just to find out that your insurance isn't actually accepted there and they have no idea why Caprock would have said it was. Have fun paying out of pocket."

"I have Caprock Health Insurance. I had questions about my health insurance. I made an appointment. Melanie helped me. She explained absolutely everything to me, gave me a list of providers, and was patient. She had excellent customer service skills. Hannah greeted me and treated me well. Ruby was wonderful on the phone. It was professional all the way around. 3/31/2016"
