Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Chasity obviously does not care for her job or customer service. I get it when everyone has a bad day, but this is Valentine’s Day. I’m having a dinner with my husband and we were having a great evening and wanted to end it with good food and customer service. Chasity never wrote down anything when we ordered food, she never smiled, never asked how our food was, never asked if we needed anything with it, never asked if we needed boxes or sauces, nothing. She silently brought our food and would quickly rush away every time. The one time she made an attempt to check on us, it was a “roll by” where she mumbled asking “you guys still good?” And by the time I looked over, her back is facing me with her head facing my way, directly staring at me with her head low, no smile - very obviously not caring and making us uncomfortable with every slight encounter. I felt rude asking her for a box as it was very evident that it was out of her way. But the weird part was the end when she brought our check and popped up saying “top one is mine. Bottom is yours. I’ll be right back to grab it cuz as soon as you sign it, I get to go home” and then smiles and giggles for the very first time all night with us and then quickly walks away. We felt rushed. We felt uncomfortable. We felt like we were a burden to eat there… we heard everyone else getting great customer service with smiling and happy waitresses but ours was miserable. We assumed her bf dumped her or something with how angry she was all night. Maybe put her in the back as a cook so she doesn’t have to see people since she hates people? Just a suggestion."

"Every time I come here it's always a pleasant time. The staff are extremely friendly, and the food is always phenomenal and is exactly what you order. Definitely coming back here for more dates in the future."

"In my experience, Applebee's serves a variety of delicious entrees, like the boneless wings and burgers, but the medium rare steak I ordered was not cooked properly - had to return it to be put back on the grill. As for the sides, which were initially served at lukewarm temperature, they were not what I'd expected. The mashed potatoes tasted as if raw flour was mixed in it. The cheesy broccoli was ok, but under seasoned and with barely any cheese on top. Customer service was the best part, however. I admittedly got slightly snippy when I was served the sides to eat without the steak, but the waitress, Kaylee, remained professional and polite - with the re-cooked steak, she gave me a new plate with hot sides. I'll be eating at Applebee's again, but NO steak or mashed potatoes this time. (Pic below of first plate - forgot to take pic of second plate)."
