"I had stopped in here before to get an iced coffee and it did not disappoint , this time I went back for something new : Iced Coconut matcha latte! So delicious ! For someone who loves matcha, this has to be one of my favorites in the city! Loved the compliment too!"

"I found Complimentary Cafe to be a very nice small cafe. I tried two drinks. One was a cc latte, which can be made either sweet or less sweet. I opted in for one that was less sweet. I got the latte and it was beautiful. They put a design on the latte and the flavor was not sweet, but, still very flavorful with hints of cinnamon. I very much enjoyed it. After I finished the latte, I decided on getting an iced coffee. The iced coffee had a very unique flavor to me. It has a strong oak flavor with hints of smoke. To me, it was the strongest flavor coffee I have had in a long time. To me, that was not a bad thing. I in fact enjoyed it very much. But, I can see the flavor throwing many people off guard. Something unique to this cafe was that they write little notes on their cups if you take it to go. They will write a little message on your napkin if you have a coffee to stay. In my opinion, it was a very nice gesture to make someone's day."

"Wow. This place is awesome. The iced coconut vanilla latte with oat milk was one of the best beverages I have ever had. Even if you think you don’t like matcha, this will blow your mind. My partner got the iced chai latte with oat milk and also loved it. Friendly staff, cute interior, little positive notes on every cup!! Will be coming back as soon as I can!!"

"This cafe is truly a gem! I found it by chance a few months ago and have quickly become somewhat of a regular customer. The vibes are just fantastic, the staff is knowledgeable and of course incredibly welcoming. Coming here for a LV Latte has become a routine and it’s a nice pick me up. Especially with the compliments and kind words written on the cups/napkins which oddly seem to be just what I need to hear. If you’re in the northern Chicagoland area I definitely can’t recommend this place enough."
