"Never again. Went in there on a Friday around lunch time three employees working the front no greeting no help just a stare down . Went about my way shopping waited at the counter all three of them again just looked at me waiting while they are chatting away up front . Finally I just dropped my items in the counter and walked out . Same thing just a stare down as I walked out . Tried calling the store they don’t pick up called 4 times …"

"I grew up going to this mall and have never had such horrible experiences until recent. Both Aeropostale and American eagle constantly discriminate against me, my family, and friends. For example, today, my sister and I were stopping in at Aeropostale to return something- which was extremely clear with a bag & receipt in my hand- when I was rudely stopped by a manager (I believe) who asked why we were coming in. My response was “to return something,” to which she asks to see my receipt. Now, because I shop a lot I know that this is not common for a customer to be stopped and asked something like this (almost as if I was lying). I reluctantly showed her but the whole experience was generally unpleasant and I will NOT be spending another dime at this store- or company in the future. It’s funny because they pay no attention to the other teens coming in and out but the second my sister and I come in, we are immediately targeted. Additionally, I’m always being watched at both of these stores. I understand they don’t want to deal with the loss of any items, but watching a certain group of people when they come in is discriminatory- especially when people from ALL races steal… I can also ALWAYS expect a rude encounter at one of these stores. Their workers are terrible, just full of underage, teenage girls who always have an attitude. Which, I’m confused about because if I’m spending MY money in order for them to receive a paycheck, I’d expect to be treated a bit better? Either way, 0/10 recommend, would give zero stars if possible."

"I went to return some jeans of the same price & the cashier charged me $15. Mind you they were new with the tags! I just grabbed the wrong size since the hanger size was a different size than the actual jeans were. It does not add up why on the receipt. Also it took her quite some time, I was at the cashier for 10 minutes."

"Went to this location today with my sisters, and went to exchange some pants out. We started looking around and these young employee girls of the other race started watching us. We went to the back to look at more clothes, one employee in charge named “MJ” tells 2 other girls to “Watch us” mind you we were the only black people in there and they seemed to have a problem with us. So we tried to return our stuff that we bought off our moms card, we didn’t have the card so we asked for cash instead. Apparently we had to call our mom to get money in cash and it’s part of their policy. We returned our stuff and walked out and bought nothing. We shouldn’t have to walk out of a store with out buying anything bc of the rude employees. Please teach them to show more respect."

"Please teach your staff to treat customers with respect. I walked into the store and this blonde skinny girl who was an employee was eyeing me up and down. She was giving me dirty looks and I noticed. It was my turn to be next in line and she didn’t even say hi or anything, she took the clothes out of my bag without asking what I actually needed. She was giving me terrible attitude when I was being polite. The cashier next to her even gave her a look because she was being so rude to me. Before I even went to the register, she was being so nice to the customers. But as soon as it was my turn her mood changed very fast. She identified herself as a manager and wouldn’t give me her name. I’ve worked in retail and a manager should never deny when someone asks for their name, it is not a bad thing. I am shocked at how rude this employee was, if a customer gives you no trouble, you shouldn’t be rude to them. LEARN TO TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT!"
