"I inherited a Craftsman snowblower from a relative and used it for a season then let it sit until the following winter. While I'm not the most handy person, I know enough to know that you can't just let motors sit with the same oil and fuel for long periods of inactivity. Plus, I didn't know when the blower had last been serviced prior to my acquisition. I searched Google for local small engine repair services and discovered Bill's. The proprietor looked my Snowblower over and performed a full tune up and repaired a couple other parts that were faulty. We're back up and running like new! I'll be back for service with my lawnmowers in the future."

"Beware of this place for warranty work! I had purchased a string trimmer at a big box store, and was directed to Bill's Repair Service as a result of it running erratically [the big box store wouldn't take it back after two weeks]. I dropped it off at Bill's, and they said they would look at it within two weeks. After numerous follow-up calls, they finally looked at it 2 months later. They said that it was running erratically because it had 'bad gas'. They charged a nominal fee of c. $22 [which they pointed out was less than the $35 through the door fee]. When Spring arrived, I bought new gas [like before] and a better quality 40:1 engine oil mix. When I powered it up, it was still running erratically. After several uses, I decided to have Bill's look at it again. Numerous calls later, they said they'd take another look at it. Many additional calls later after I dropped it off, they finally looked at it and found that the "bolts that hold the engine block are 'Broke' ". They wrote up the paperwork so that I could return it to the big box store. They couldn't explain why they missed this diagnosis the first time, and refused to return the initial $22, stating the the big box store or manufacturer should take care of it. Poor customer service and limited product knowledge!!"
