"Came through the drive thru and they messed up my ordered offered to pay for the missing drink. And I guess the manager didn’t know I knew Spanish and was completely disrespectful and made a comment as if I was inconveniencing her life yet she works in the hospitality industry. Ridiculous place I will never come here again."

"I recently visited the McDonald's in Elgin, Illinois, and I have to say it was a bit disappointing. While I usually enjoy McDonald's for its quick and convenient fast food, this particular location left a lot to be desired. First, the service was slow. I had to wait longer than expected to place my order and even longer for my food to arrive. It wasn't particularly busy, so the delay was quite frustrating. Second, the cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar. Tables were dirty, and the floors needed a good sweeping. It gave the place a somewhat unkempt feel. Lastly, the food quality was mediocre. My fries were not as hot and crispy as I've come to expect from McDonald's, and my burger was a bit overcooked. On the plus side, the staff was polite and accommodating, which is always appreciated. Overall, this McDonald's location in Elgin didn't meet my usual expectations for the chain. I'll probably think twice before visiting again, especially with other fast-food options nearby that offer better service and cleanliness."

"Oh my god the disrespect I was given today by multiple members here was so unnecessary and disgusting. I made a mobile order that was $3, I pulled up to the drive through, gave my code, saw and verified my order on the screen, and was told to pull forward to the next window. After a few customers ahead of me, I finally get to the first window for my receipt and there was no employee there. I waited maybe 2 minutes until I pulled forward to the next window. The 2 ladies who were there said my order was not there and I needed to go back around to get my receipt. I went to the speaker, said I had to come back around and the girl said to pull up to the first window and she will get the manager. I waited for another few minutes til she said all the managers are at the next window and to pull up. At this point I’ve been here for over 15 minutes and now I’m back at the food window and they told me I do not have an order. A manager came up to me, asked questions and told me he will fix this and he would be back. Then one other employee said “lady you need to move”. So i pulled forward, waited over 5 minutes, parked came inside, the manager that was “fixing” this was taking orders and had forgotten about me already!? The one employee said “the lady is here”. She finally took my order again to have it ring up. The manager then came up to me again to tell me he’s working on it and then continued taking orders at the counter. Before I finally got my food, another employee came up to me to ask if I was helped and I said “honestly, I don’t know, they keep talking to me but I don’t have my food” and the employee’s response was “Jesus Christ” and continued what she was doing. It took 30 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers!!"

"Had a double cheeseburger for the first time in a while. Boy have they gotten worse and small. They used to be very juicy and a good size. The patties were so thin and it had one pickle and a couple dots of onions. The fries used to be the best and they are so skinny now and tasteless . Very disappointed and probably will not visit another McDonald's in a long while."
