"If you told me the staff here were robots or on happy pills, I would believe you. The staff are so friendly it is almost unhuman and unnatural to be that nice working in public retail. I am amazed at how friendly they always are. That tells me they have good managers and good training (or at least I hope!)"
"Every single time I try using Menards again I'm so very disappointed. Everytime! This time I bought custom cabinets that the rude salesman helped do. Turns out they are the wrong color, you have to put the drawers together, the soft close together, they are not flush when closed. The entire cabinet you have to put together. How much you ask, $1000 for 2 cabinets. The drawers are not even, they don't soft close.... junk!!!! Oh and the surface stains. $1000 of department junk! Don't bother sending it back because you have to sign an agreement saying the return policy has a 20% (maybe higher) restocking fee. Your customer service is at a zero. Your employees never look happy!"
"If they sold ammo, I might never shop anywhere else. If it's a tool and you can't find it here, you don't need it. Great seasonal sections. Drive through lumber yard, and the best price on big bags of gummi bears."
"I went to pick up a few things. One item was in the paint dept. I needed help and could not find anyone associate for use. I'll go to Amazon and have it in a day or two. I picked the other item up and had a friendly checkout person. The ongoing 11% off ‘on everything’ is only if you mail in the refund request. The discount would be good on large purchases."
