"This apartment complex is a dream! The location is right across from the park but still a 15 minute walk downtown. It’s close to food, bars, Barton Springs pool, Zilker, etc. The property manager is amazing as well! Highly recommend this place!"

"I have lived at Park Terrace since Summer 2021. Austin is my hometown and I have lived here most of my life. I never imagined living in the center of town due to cost and other factors. However, once my partner and I found Park Terrace, it has become my favorite experience in all my years of living in Austin. Maureen, the Property Manager, has been very accommodating and has responded well to the changing landscape around our community. As a homeowner of a condo unit built in 1969, the issues surrounding building maintenance are addressed promptly and the maintenance staff is very friendly. The community cares about sharing information whenever issues take place (ex. packages delivered to the wrong address, an unfamiliar person on the property, etc.). A number of safety measures have been implemented over time that demonstrate the management wants to keep the tenants safe and encourage proper use of the common areas. My two favorite aspects of living in the community are: 1) The courtyard - watching people's dogs interact, seeing people enjoy a glass of wine under the enormous oak tree, lounging around the pool, grilling with friends 2) Downtown Austin is your front lawn - I can walk in every direction and experience unbelievable Barbeque at Terry Blacks, margaritas at El Alma, walk to the dog park along Town Lake (yes, I still call it Town Lake), watch the sunset on the pedestrian bridge, ride my bike on the trails, walk to ACL, check out the local food trucks, read a book at the Public Library and look at the city skyline from the outdoor deck, grab a beer at Hold Out Brewing, enjoy an open mic at House Wine, etc. Sometimes an entire week will go by and I never drove my car. The Austin landscape has been changing rapidly over the years. Being a part of the Park Terrace community has made me feel like an integrated part of the unique experiences that I call home."

"My partner and I have lived here for close to three years now. Obviously, the location can't be beat, but the community is also great. Park Terrace is one of the few places so close to downtown that retains the "Old Austin" charm. Unlike other older apartments I've rented, ownership and management here have been willing to upgrade the units and take feedback from tenants on ways to improve the property. They genuinely seem to care. When theft and trespassing became an issue (common if you live downtown), residents requested measures to make us feel safer. A security patrol and and bright parking lot lights were added. The grounds are always well maintained and the occasional work order has been handled quickly. In cases where it's an AC issue that might take a few days, Maureen, the manager had a portable window unit brought in so we could sleep comfortably. The complex is surprisingly quiet given it's proximity to all the action. The community is small and residents look out for each other. There are sometimes impromptu gatherings in the courtyard when the weather is nice. Overall, we've had a great experience living here."

"Have been at Park Terrace three years now, and wouldn’t think of renting anywhere else in town. The location is unbeatable—to be at the doorstep of the park and the river, blocks from great eats, and a quick stroll from the heart of downtown turns Austin into a walkable city. The units are thoughtfully upgraded, especially the spacious kitchens, and the grounds are well kept, including weekly landscaping, pest control, and pool service. And management has been consistently responsive and quick to attend to resident requests, from routine maintenance fixes to security upgrades. But it’s the people that make this place. It’s designed to create a sense of community, and I’ve never lived anywhere with so strong of one. It’s no small thing to have a built-in pet-sitting cooperative, to be in need of jumper cables and have a neighbor drop them at your door in minutes, to come home to an impromptu gathering of folks sharing a drink in the courtyard. Amid the prevalence of big corporate landlords and anonymous high rises in the market in this town, it’s a rare pleasure to live in a smaller, family-owned complex with management who know you as a person and neighbors who know you as a friend. I couldn’t recommend it more highly."

"I have lived at Park Terrace for 2 years and it’s absolutely the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. When I moved in, my apartment had been newly renovated with beautiful floors, countertops and tile in the kitchen. They were even kind enough to offer to paint my cabinets white opposed to the standard wood. The size of the two bedroom and closet space provided is perfect for me and my son who comes every other weekend. I’m able to maintain my minimalist lifestyle while having plenty of room for all of our things. The property is quiet and landscaping is beautiful. It is also the first time I lived anywhere where the neighbors hang out together and most people know each other, which is pretty special. I love the convenience of being right downtown and having a greenbelt trail back up to the property. I also appreciate having room to store my bike and scooter in their indoor storage area. The best part of living here though is the management team. Maureen and Cisco are always available and quick to respond to any needs or maintenance issues. It is also rare to be living in a privately owned community opposed to the corporate apartment housing. I have found this makes a huge difference in the quality of care and effort given to residents. Overall, I have loved my experience at Park Terrace and plan to stay for the foreseeable future."
