"Had a reservation, room was clean neat and big. You can tell it’s dated by the gold accents and nO USB outlets but definitely a GREAT hotel for the value. My only dislike was the breakfast, step up and do a hot breakfast like the other hotels! There are three restaurants within walking distance but the authentic restaurant next door was incredible!"
"We had to get a room without a reservation due to weather and other issues. Shay listened to our needs (one being my 90 year old mother checking in with us.). Shay took time to find a room to best serve her needs. The price was extremely fair. Shay and the other woman there(sorry I do not think I got her name) were very helpful, patient, and accommodating. The room was quiet and we slept well. Thank you all for providing a safe shelter from the storm and being so kind."
"Room smelled of raw onions. Breakfast clerk was extremely rude and stayed on her cell phone. Rep at check-in was great. Carpeting is faded and stained. The hotel needs renovations badly. Will not return or recommend."
"The check-in and check out are perfectly fine. Staff was very friendly. The only issue was the location of the handicap room which was in the back of the hotel and in this instance being in a walker made it challenging. Overall location is fine and relatively safe as long as you stay on property. Will want to try some of the nearby restaurants including one right next to the property."
"The bathroom had bugs and roaches in it. Made it hard to shower. The plug-ins were so loose that cords wouldn't stay in it. Pictures definitely do NOT match the rooms or outside of the building. The tub was extremely clogged. No water pressure in the shower. Definitely wouldn't recommend this La Quinta. We have had good luck with other La Quinta hotels though."
