"Trash customer service. I called ahead of time to see if they carried a particular item. Ryan informed me that if they had the item, it would be on the floor or in the back. He never once offered to check. Obviously, IF the item is in store, it would be on the floor, or in the back. That's common sense. The purpose of me calling the store before hand is for you, the employee--in the store-- to let me know if you have the item, so I do not need to waste anyone's time going into the store for nothing. Still, I went inside the store, and I don't shop here often, and it's a massive store, of course. I was greeted but I wasn't offered any help at all. I walked the length of the store searching for said item and gave up. No assistance, no awareness, no help at all from customer service. I walked out and when I turned back, it looked like two employees had followed me to the door, I guess to check if maybe I stole something. So, that tells me they were aware of me being there but made sure to make themselves scarce while I needed help. I'll just go somewhere else for the item. Not doing the very basic courtesy of offering assistance to customers is a GREAT way to lose business, imo."

"Visited this evening in need of a specific golf grip needed to match a set. The online system showed 6 in stock. Paul was sent to assist me as I couldn’t find it. He looked through the grips and also couldn’t find it. But he didn’t stop. He went into the back room to check. Strike two. Lastly he noticed the 6 were returned a couple of days ago, so he checked the returns. Strike three. So I left with no grip, but I also left with a super customer service interaction. Five stars for sure. Thanks Paul (he even has a cool name)"

"Items here are very high. Having fun out doors should not cost so much to spend time with family. Bass Pro Shop in East Peoria, il and Pressleys in Bartonville, il have reasonable price no matter how small or big your wallet is."
