"Southfork Lake Apartments has excellent amenities and a friendly, helpful staff. This apartment has some of the best in-unit and public amenities I've seen. The concierge team, the management team, and the maintenance team have all been friendly, responsive, and helpful during my 38-months stay here. Nicole, Community Manager is beautiful inside and out, absolutely love her, she’s the best."

"For the 6 months I've been here, I have had the same noise complaint from my upstairs neighbor. The front office claim they'll do something, but, according to the continous noise throughout an entire day, they won't hold the person accountable. You'll just have to deal with it bcuz they will not enforce anything. The place is nice and convenient for freeway access, but if you have any complaints, they will do nothing about it."

"I lived here for 4 years. I moved in 2 years after it was built, so only 1 person lived in my unit. Overall, good experience. Maintanence responded quickly and office was good about handling requests. I didn’t experience a pest problem; however, like I mentioned before I was the 2nd person to live in my unit and tried to keep a clean home. I experienced one roof leak and it was fixed within a couple of weeks. I lived in the back, so stayed pretty quiet. However, I have heard of other people having noise issues. My AC broke once during the weekend and maintanence came same night with portable unit, it was fixed that next week. Cons: Gate always broken and call box sometimes malfunctions (so keep your opener on you). May need to replace the entire gate. A couple of cars were broken into my last year staying there, I was blessed they did not hit my car. Recently moved for more space, but would recommend for others to live. Just communicate with office, you should be good. I didn’t knock a star off for cons, because for Houston/Pearland it’s probably best property in the area."

"My son has been living here for almost a year. He is a cancer survivor and a heart transplant patient. His air conditioning keeps having problems but they will not call a professional out to fix it!!!! They have put Freon in it at least 4 times. About every 3 weeks!!!! Common sense would tell you that there is a leak. I’m very disappointed in these apartments. I’m giving them one more chance to get it fixed or I’m getting an attorney on this. They also can’t seem to keep their gates working. What good is a gated property if the gates are broken. You pay over 1500.00 for a one bedroom , you expect to have security if they have it gated."

"I have had a pleasant experience living here and I have very few negative things to say about the complex. However, there is an employee in the office, not sure of her name, but she has red hair. She is extremely rude and dismissive, which is not appropriate or appreciated when you are seeking help. I had a package delivered to the office and it was noted to be delivered and signed by a receptionist. She told me she could not find the package, and she had an attitude about looking for it and helping me. She even suggested I come back. She then decided to look again in the office for the package and offered i come with, so I did take a step inside where the packages were. Low and behold, there my package was. So she did not look to begin with. Steven, Dora, Nicole and everyone else is extremely helpful and pleasant aside from this lady. When I come into contact with her in the office, it is never pleasant."
