"This place is good for an overnight stay. Room was large and clean. It's right off the highway. It's affordable probably because you don't get some of the perks you'd get with more expensive chains. There's no breakfast or pool that I could see. It fit my needs. Neat little place to rest when traveling."

"There is a reason why the last reviews were done in 2019. The photos online are old. The rooms have no phones. The grills in their outdoor area are rusted thru. Don't mind the chickens on the other side of the parking lot. Im here during some heavy rains and potato bugs have greeted me throughout the day. The rooms also smell musty even after running the AC for a few hours. There is no access to the upper floors from the west side of the hotel. It's blocked off. The towels remind me of locker room towels, eg,...thin, multicolored stripes, with rust stains on them. They also have some that resemble the towels at your grandparents' house that you don't touch, multiple fabrics with designs. This has old highway motel vibes. For what they charge its woefully underwhelming."

"I only gave the rooms 3 stars because this is not a fancy place. That is not to say it wasn't good. For the price, it was very good. My room was clean and affordable which is a big plus. Everything in the room was in good condition and it worked. There was no safe in my room. The hotel managers are very kind and available 24/7. There were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. For Manvel, I think it's not a bad place to stay."

"Although there isn't extravagant views or much to do in the area, this is a great place to stay! Very friendly owners that work hard to keep the place spotless! Very clean rooms and really quiet area. During my 2 night stay, I was able to see a squadron of 4 practice for the air show which was cool. They have a nice covered smoking area with 3 picnic tables and even a BBQ pit nearby. Plenty of convenient stores in the area and a Burger Barn a mile or two away. I highly recommend them for a nice, clean room and friendly, quiet stay."

"It was very clean and the staff was nice! We requested a refrigerator and microwave and they were provided for us. The room was huge! We had two double beds and then there was a huge "living" area. The sheets were clean. It smelled like coconut when we walked in. The toilet in our room however, would catch at times and wouldn't flush, but they came to fix it each time (it only happened twice). The bath tub had a few stains on the edge but nothing that should stop anyone from staying here! The only other thing was the shower pressure was not very hard but the water was as hot as you wanted it the whole time. Overall we definitely would stay here again. It was cheap, and we had 3 people! We payed $78 for the room and can say that it was definitely worth not going to some big fancy hotel and paying over $100 for the night. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!"
